Welcome to luxury, family-oriented, waterfront living.  Located in the prestigious 'Northshore' neighborhood in Sandpoint, this large estate-like home has a massive 'open' main entertaining area, gourmet kitchen, main floor master suite, private office and an additional 4 bedrooms and family / game room upstairs.   Decorated from travels and experiences around the world, the home is intentionally designed to bring family and friends together to make new memories in one of the most beautiful areas of the Idaho.  Books and art fill the width of the Great Room, but the natural art of the lake and private, beautifully landscaped yard  will fill your senses with views of Lake Pend Oreille and surrounding mountains.  A covered back patio includes a large gas BBQ, a large Teak table is lovely for outdoor meals or enjoy the fire pit or the huge hot tub.  Landscaped steps take you to an enormous dock with TWO boat lifts (10k lb & 4k lb respectively) and kayaks and paddle boards, with lifejackets, are included with your stay. Inside the home, the main floor master suite has a King bed, luxury linens, a separate sitting area around a gas fireplace, all with views outside to the lake.  A private office is quiet and separated when work needs to be done.  A large laundry and mud room is great for all seasons.  Upstairs there is 4 additional bedrooms, another family room with HD TV, foosball table, additional laundry room and several bathrooms.  The first bedroom upstairs has a King bed, the 2nd bedroom also has a King bed, the 3rd bedroom has a Queen, and the 4th bedroom upstairs has (4) Full-size beds (in two bunk beds).   Northshore is just 2 miles from Sandpoint's City Beach - an easy bike ride or walk to all of Sandpoint's restaurants and shops and an even *shorter* walk to Memorial Field for The Festival at Sandpoint.  Schweitzer Mountain is just 30 minutes away and this home is available for longer 'seasonal' rentals as well.

**Note:  Each year, on September 18th OR the 3rd  Sunday in September (whichever is later), the Army Corps of Engineers begins dropping the water level of Lake Pend Oreille until ultimately reducing it by a total of 10-12 feet.  Around the 4th week in September ALL boat docks and boat lifts on the lake become inaccessible and unusable, as the water completely recedes back from the shoreline leaving just bare ground beneath the docks.  The agreement with the Army Corps of Engineers states the lake level must be restored to full pool level each year no later than July 4th, however, the last 10+ years the lake water has been at full pool level around the 2nd or 3rd week in June.
