Landhaus

The apartment is situated at the end of a narrow dead end street on a hill and thus in a quiet place. There's a private parking place just in front of the apartment that is tight but big enough for most "normal" cars. Large vans or 4x4's will have a hard time getting in or out. From the parking place you go down some stairs to the apartment that is situated below the owners's residence. The stairs are not very well suited for people that have problems walking or going up or down stairs. The apartment is well insulated and remained nice and cool during the heat when we stayed there (over a week of 30 degrees Celsius in May). The larger windows in the living room and bedroom don't get much direct sunlight and have roller shutters on the outside. The windows in the kitchen and bathroom do get direct sunlight but are significantly smaller and mostly shielded from direct sunlight by the hill and plants. The apartment is spacious, light, comfortable and split level. Living room and kitchen are on the lowest level. Bedroom and bathroom are about 4 steps up from the living room. It has contemporary furniture in the living room with a dining table that seats 4, with modern chairs, lots of cupboards to store everything you want and a large sofa that is nice to sit or lie on. In the living room you will find a large screen TV and a satellite receiver with spare HDMI connections. In combination with the freely available Wifi and a Chromecast or similar device you can easily watch all your favorite channels or streaming services. The fully equipped kitchen has a ceramic hub, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, electric water kettle, a coffee machine for ground coffee (paper filters) and even a fully automatic coffee and espresso machine. There are enough dishes, glasses, plates, bowls, pots and pans available. Cutlery and utensils come in wide supply. Again, plenty of cupboard space available. So far for part 1.

Part 2. Again no disappointments :-) On the (slightly) higher level of the apartment there is a hallway that separates the bathroom and bedroom. The bedroom is well sized with a large twin box-spring bed, large pillows, bedside tables and lights at either side. There's a giant wardrobe cupboard that will hold all your clothes and more. The bathroom has a very spacious walk-in (rain and hand) shower, a modern toilet, sink and electric radiator for the towels. The apartment is only rented out every now and then, not on a structural basis. This means you will probably not find many products in the refrigerator or cupboards that are perishable. You better bring your basic needs with you or go shopping upon arrival. The hostess made us feel very welcome with fresh flowers and some candy upon arrival and clean towels and again fresh flowers during the week. Other than that we were left nicely to ourselves to enjoy our rest and privacy.

Die Lage ist angenehm ruhig, die Wohnung ist schön eingerichtet, die Betten sind sehr bequem, dass Bad hat eine tolle Dusche.

Nichts.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft, mit herzlichen und hilfsbereiten Vermietern. Ruhige Lage, kein Durchgangsverkehr. Perfekt zum entspannen.
