Rivendell Apartments

We had a wonderful stay at Rivendell Apartments. Nick, the owner, made us feel completely at home and accommodated every one of our requests — and traveling with our little daughter, we definitely had many! 😅 The property is surrounded by nature and has such a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere. The apartments are fully equipped with everything you might need, making them perfect even for longer stays. The cleaning service was constant and impeccable throughout our vacation. The property also features a large swimming pool, perfect for relaxing and cooling off during the hottest days. Our vacation here was fantastic, but two things in particular make this place truly special: * The on-site restaurant: after several days exploring the island, we realized it was one of the most authentic places we tried and definitely among the best for food. We also enjoyed generous and delicious breakfasts there every morning. * Nick himself: his friendliness, kindness, and availability made our stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. Thank you so much for everything!

Nikos and his wife are very kind, the whole complex is very pleasant, and the food at the restaurant is fantastic. The apartment has everything you need—a small kitchen, heating, air conditioning, a balcony with seating and a clothesline, etc. We have to give a shout-out to the excellent cleaning! The location is great, close to the capital and some fantastic beaches, but you’ll need a car.

The furnishings are a bit dated—you have to expect that—but everything works fine. The only thing that was a bit hard and uncomfortable for us were the mattresses, but we stayed for four nights and it was manageable.

Big swimming pool, big balcony, spacious room and the owners as well as the pets (2big dogs and cats) were really friendly. A lot of free spaces for kids to play around.

Its was a lovely rural place, with the feeling of staying with friends. The owners are a charming couple, with the most delicious home cooking if you want it. Theres plenty of hot water, fast wifi and aircon. Perfect base for exploring the island.
