It was a great stay the rooms were modern large and clean. The breakfasts were very tasty, and very accommodating staff

The pool was amazing temped and a good size

The surrounding area would food due to heavy rain so you get wet when leaving. There was no umbrella available and I had to ask for a hammock which I thought would have been set up. The afternoon tea also wasn’t provided as advertised as part of the package.

It was honestly amazing, the staff are exceptional, they greet you so respectfully during every interaction.

We spent 6 unforgettable nights at Astera Villa in Bali, and it exceeded our expectations in every way! The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and respectful, always attending to our needs promptly. Very simple to communicate with and made everything so easy. The villa itself was a dream come true - it was even more stunning than the photos, with impeccable cleanliness and plenty of space to relax. We loved the attention to detail and the luxurious touches throughout. The private pool was a highlight, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. We also appreciated the comfortable bedding and bubble bath! If you're looking for a beautiful and luxurious getaway, Astera Villa is a must-visit. We can't wait to return and experience it all again. Thank you so much Astera, the stay at this Villa was truly the highlight of my entire trip.

Would highly recommend this villa for a stay in seminyak

The villa is designed very nicely. Its balinese design with a modern twist. The room is very spacious with a separate dressing area. The pool is a very good size and our villa also had a hammock which was a very nice touch. They offer a good range of breakfast options. They also give free daily afternoon tea which includes something sweet like brownies and also spring rolls. The location is good. It is a 20 minutes walk to seminyak beach and a taxi ride into town All the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Perfect for couples and those with older children

The room is massive and it has the most amazing rainforest shower. Having the ability to come home and have a swim to take the sting out of the day with cold beer in hand is the perfect way to end the day in my opinion! The location is tucked away so it’s nice and quiet when sleeping and the staff there basically bend over backwards to ensure that all guests are comfortable and having a great time.

2 Minor things! 1. No mosquito screens on the doors but it doesn’t seem to be a thing in Bali. Bring mosquito repellent! 2. The mini bar fridge is hard to keep nice and cold as it’s running 110V and they have the thermostat set. But hey it’s Bali! So these are minor inconvenience at most!

The location was great and very easy to get to other areas quick. The room size was pretty good too. Staff were friendly and helped us with any questions we had.

Cleanliness was a big issue here. Couches were badly stained, kettle was moldy on the inside, complimentary glass water bottles were extremely dirty, mugs and drinking glasses were always dirty, pool was dirty (not with normal leaves but white spots everywhere), sunbeds were moldy. Bed cover had a weird black stain. I think their water isn’t filtered either so showering/washing face/brushing teeth was an issue - we had to get our own bottled water to brush our teeth because their water had a bad smell. Breakfast and food was mid - we would either eat out or order food from grab.

Bad management

Unfortunately we didn’t get the chance to attend this property. We had just gotten married. And we’re so excited about attending Bali and to spend time in the villa. However we had a family member pass away unfortunately the day we were supposed to travel. We couldn’t go on our honeymoon. I then contacted astera villa and advised of our situation. We were grieving especially such a high or marriage. I told them we won’t be able to attend due to our circumstances. There was no sympathy nor refund. Not even a voucher for future for them. They only offered us to extend the stay for a month. (Very unrealistic) as an immediate family member had passed. I then provided death certificate also. But still no response. It was just about the money. So I would really be careful with who you choose to stay as they do not care about you personally.

The staff were really great, kind and responsive.

The private pool for the villa was not very clean. They never checked the chlorine levels for the week we were there and we had to always ask for the pool to be cleaned. Even after cleaning it wasnt the best so we rarely used it. Additionally, we would ask our room to be serviced when we left in the morning. We usually returned in the late evening. Everytime we came back the room's door leading to the pool was left open. This caused a lot of mosquiotes to enter the room every night. We mentioned this to staff at least 3 times to please do not leave the door open after cleaning but it was always left open. It was quite frustrating. The tub adjacent to the pool was also dirty and we never used it. The hamock was not set up correctly so it hung far too low when you laid in it.

I had very bad experience at this place. Although the place is nice but under maintained. Room was cleaned, comfortable bed and sleeping experience. Pool was dirty. Check in experience was ok, but booking experience was horrible. I booked through booking. com and the option was to pay at property. Hotel staff reached out to me over WhatsApp harassing me for immediate payment through a separate link through WhatsApp which seemed unsecured. The maturity and experience of the member dealing with me was completely not upto standard. I believe the hospitality management of this hotel chain need to re consider their training and capabilities of people.

Luxury stay with complete comfort and fun

Really a luxury villa with complete amenities and front desk really helpful. Check-in was easy. Room is super good and was clean and new. The size is quite huge and worth everything paid for. Smart switches with Alexa voice command. Comes with speakers, tv. Wished we could have stayed more days there. Decoration and breakfast was at extra cost and really good.

Everything exceeded my expectation, cant find anything to complaint. There is no reason for any complaint or dissatisfaction. Is definitely recommended to the max to stay and enjoy the comfort there.

Beautiful spot to stay, great location, perfect size for two with our own pool.

Great location - only a short walk to a Main Street, cafes, ATM, supermarket. The bed was super comfy and different pillow options. There were two air conditioners and a fan to keep you cool at night.

- staff didn’t notify us that their was a daily limit in hot water. A staff member needed to turn on the hot water every morning. So we were showering in cold water throughout our entire stay. - TV wasn’t working and was locked to the HDMI channel. So we couldn’t watch normal TV. - On check out reception forgot to return our bond. I had to drive back from the airport to the villa to collect our bond. - you need to pay to use the bath tub.
