The house is a 200+ year old mansion/palace of former governors and the elite of Tunis. It gives one the experience of staying in a palace and experiencing a place directly out of a history book. The host and his daughter were very hospitable and very helpful in helping me find all the locations I needed. The house is in the old Medina of Tunis, so it is an ideal location to explore the old medieval town. It is truly a unique experience staying here.
Nothing that I didnt like. However, if you are looking for modern rooms, brand new tiled surfaces and a western style accommodation, this place is NOT for you. It is only for the person looking to travel back in time to a different era. It is a unique experience for the adventurous traveller.

The house is amazing, It's perfect if you want to live the experience of staying in a house of 18th century! Very nice and helpful hosts who made our stay comfortable and memorable. We enjoyed our stay and if we find ourselves in Tunis again we'll stay there, no doubt!

Such a cozy and homey place to stay! The house itself is 254 years old, full of charm and character. The owner was so welcoming and shared the amazing story of how it was his great-great-grandfather who built it, such a cool piece of history. I also got to go up to the roof, which had a beautiful view overlooking the city and the neighborhood. Definitely made the stay extra special
