Good

Initially the room given was not good. TV was NOT working despite reminder and attempts. Since checkin till evening 6pm the problem continued and our time was less productive as TV could have kept child busy for some time and I could focus on my work. Even the quilt cover was torn. But later on insisting room was changed and the problem was resolved ( after waste of initial time) Actually, I had made two seperate bookings for two ( consecutive) days. So after Day1 I could decide whether to continue or not. Though I had canceled the Day2 (online ) beforehand but still I had a hunch of cooperative staff during phone call before arriving on Day1. Hence, after this TV experience when things were resolved, we stayed there for 3days.

The staff are best, have stayed here twice, very near to High Court and other destinations

- Excellent location. A short walk to many good restaurants, cafes and the popular riverside park. Not too far from the city center and the railway station. - Good value for money. It will be very difficult to find better in the area at this price. - Very friendly and helpful staff. - AC and hot water works well. The room was reasonably clean. - Interesting vintage decor. I had never been in a classic lift like this before. I only saw it in movies. It was an interesting experience.

The hotel clearly has seen better days and can give a haunted mansion vibe. You can see they have put in effort to install new electrical appliances and replace the old furniture, but overall, it still looked run down. Having said that, with a good renovation, this hotel will turn into an upscale heritage hotel and cost 5X the current price.

Nothing to like in this hotel. Only location benefits are there.

1. No breakfast is available 2.No proper communication from staff 3.Phone of staff was switched off 4.They were unaware about booking 5. No cleanliness is there. Bed sheets are smelling and it causes itching 6. Entire hotel is dirty 7. Condition of wash rooms are pathetic
