Cute little getaway filled with comfort and pleasantries

Amazing little place, cute location for exploring the Yorkshire dales. Lovely bathroom, and bedroom. Not crammed at all for what it is. The owner Emma is an absolute sweetheart, we booked last minute and she was worried about the property not being warm for us when we got there! The effort she clearly puts into it does not go amiss and is refreshing. It's so clean and well put together, instructions are clear. With good parking good amount of space free WiFi and tea and coffee. Big comfy bed. Like it was perfect.l!!!

A bijou little bolthole

It was a cosy and comfortable little place and very quiet.

Although the bedroom was a good size, the rest of the place was pretty tiny. Only one person could get into the kitchen at once and the dining table was in the hallway. Some shelves in the bathroom for toiletries would be great 😃

The lodge was very nice good location only 9 min drive from ripon town centre,only issue was there wasn’t a cooker to cook breakfast other than that very good

It has been very well designed & thought out with great attention to detail. The good quality furniture, bed linen, crockery etc. makes the lodge feel very luxurious & special. Bed was lovely, so comfortable! Excellent communication & directions from the owner.

Overnight stay in peaceful location

Really quiet location, on a farm, in a pretty village close to A1 . Very beautifully decorated - had everything for a short stay in the compact kitchen and dining area .

A fantastic hideaway in the Yorkshire countryside.

The accommodation was wonderful, using a small space really well. It was a really comfortable and welcoming space, and made a great base for exploring the area. The provision of toiletries, tea, coffee and milk was a lovely touch.

It was an ideal stay for a couple of nights but would have felt a bit cramped for much longer.

Shorter than expected.

The location was great. The quietest night sleep I’ve ever had.

The room was very hot. Pillows to soft. Couldn’t open the windows enough. There was a really strong acrid smell that permeated from the shower room into the bedroom. Had to leave the door open to the outside to try and clear the air. So much so we only stayed the one night but paid for the two. We drove home 5 and a half hours after a family wedding because we couldn’t take the smell. A real shame. Would love to stay again but it would need looking in to where the smell was coming from.

Enjoyed our time there very relaxing.

Everything was to a very high standard. It was comfortable very clean warm and inviting. Having fresh milk in the fridge and tea and coffee was a nice touch very much appreciated. Lovely toiletries soap shampoo shower gel all complimentary.

Compact, clean and met all needs for overnight stay

Cosy, nice decor, very clean, off road parking, reasonably priced, good & clear communication from owners.

Didn’t realise there wasn’t an oven but that didn’t spoil our stay; just had to rethink our evening meal.

The location was quite a nice area, visiting ripon so it wasn’t far.

Lovely decor and super clean!

Could do with some curtains up at the entrance bit, felt a bit exposed when going to the kitchen area, but this didn’t spoil our weekend. We had a fab time.

I liked how you could get the keys without disturbing the hosts but they were available if I needed anything. Really nice quiet area and it was nice inside and very clean.

Think the price is bit to high think could do with being 80 or so pounds per night but tbh I will be back but think should be taken in to consideration. Defo be back for sure 😃

Lovely and ill be back

The location and instructions were fab, easy to find and get in the property. It was exceptionally clean and very welcoming with everyone one would need. The furnishings were very nice and perfect for a short stay.

I cant think of anything i didn't like, they even provided milk and coffee for my morning brew :)
