Mansion-8 bedrooms sleeps 24-3 living rooms with Spanish Marble flooring

There was plenty of space - all bedrooms were a reasonable size and there are large communal areas for socialising (sitting room, kitchen & dining room). Lovely big garden too. It was easy to find from the motorway & lots of off-road parking spaces. The hot tub was set up and warm ready for arrival (pre-booked by contacting host and paying the fee) The host was very friendly & easily contactable Wi-fi worked well throughout the property Obviously it is on a flight path so noise from planes above is unavoidable but actually not very noticeable indoors Enjoyed seeing the parakeets, crows & squirrels visiting the garden!

There weren't many plug sockets in the bedrooms

A few fixable niggles :) Needs more forks. only 8. 1 bedroom without light. bathroom door sticks - x 3 times person unable to get out - we stopped using that bathroom.

The location was fantastic—close to the airport and very easy to get into town. The mansion itself was spacious, with large communal areas and a beautiful garden. We enjoyed the hot tub, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable and perfect for a family gathering.

The house, while lovely, needs some maintenance. Some rooms had random items stored in them, and the wardrobe doors were loose. One of the showers was partly broken, and the water temperature couldn’t be adjusted. The beds were okay.The BBQ hadn’t been cleaned from the previous stay. There were a few miscommunications with the host at the start, partly on my side for not asking all the questions before booking, but they were eventually resolved.

The space is good and for the price we paid it was fine. Couple of issues with the host pre-stay but they were nice when we met them and sorted out the issue of water coming through the ceiling promptly.

I arrived at 4.15pm and the host was still cleaning the house - they said they were checking the cleaner's work but if that was the case, I'd be very dissapointed as it would mean 2 people did a rubbish job: Not sure the beds had been changed as there were certainly bits in mine and the bins in the rooms had not been emptied. The hot tub was okay but getting stopping due to an error - probably could have called the host about this but didn't want to keep having to interrrupt our stay. It was very grimy in the bottom and filled with bits so again the cleaning was not great. The host told me gates would be open until 9pm - they actually closed about 8pm - not a massive issue but yet another niggle. Overall not terrible but the whole experience for me as the organiser felt a bit off - the person who contacted me was the person I met but they made out like there were other people involved (saying that the person I have been speaking with was their son and they have set up a divert so it will be them who deals with any issues - 100% not the case as the whatsapp pic was of them...and of course the whole "cleaner" situation). Possible that there is a reasonable explanation but I just felt wary.
