Motovun Villas

New and luxurious villas, all with their own pool. New kitchen with everything in it. Spacious rooms and bathrooms. Superb location and view!

The pool wasn't ideally placed: no sun in or next to the pool after 4pm. Lots of bugs, inside the house too. Lots of barking dogs in the neighbourhood.

1. Large villa, 4 spacious bedrooms with bathroom and shower in each room and plenty of closet space. 2. Fully equipped kitchen, with all the appliances 3. Billiard table and other games was great of the family 4. Large pool area and nice size pool 5. The main house area is well air conditioned 6. Washer worked well, dryer less so. 7. Luca, The owner representative, was really nice and welcoming. We arrived at 4am and he was there to help with luggage and show us around the villa. He was also responsive to the issues we experienced and did what he could to improve the situation. Also, when we asked for late checkout he right away approved, at no extra fee, considering the issues we had with the villa during our stay.

1. Air conditioning- Some of the bedrooms had issues with the air conditioning. This has been a really long and hot summer and the owner said the technician couldn’t get to us. Bottom line, two bedrooms were hot during the night which made it difficult to sleep. 2. Water pressure - There was very low water pressure throughout our stay, which meant we couldn’t have decent showers during our stay. Owner said this was a problem for the entire area and not villa specific, and that it is also due to the unusual hot summer they’re having and that there was nothing that could be done about it. 3. Electric issue - Anytime we turned on more than one appliance on the kitchen the switch on the main board jumped. This seems to me like an easy fix, just re-rout some of the sockets to a different switch, there are simply too many sockets on a single switch. 4. Shade - Pool area has no real shade. There’s a gazebo, but it’s not covered well so there wasn’t enough shade there either. Adding a few umbrellas and re-covering the roof of the gazebo would solve this issue easily.

Die Unterkunft war nicht sauber. Armaturen auf der Toilette locker. Garten nicht gepflegt. Fließen am Pool locker. Verletzungsgefahr.
