Villa Mer Vue

We spent nine nights at Villa Mer Vue and fell in love with this place. From the moment you enter the house, the view is breathtaking and you struggle to take it all in! We spent hours looking at the waves breaking on the beach. The colour of the water differ every single day. Some days the sea was rough with wild waves, just to be calm with gentler waves the next day. We loved swimming here; some days we opted for the pool. The beach is perfect for long walks; very early morning most of the beach is shaded. From 9:30 the beach is in full sun. We were alone on the beach most days and felt completely safe. Big bonus: the villa is quite far away from the tourist crowds. If you are like us and enjoy privacy and quiet beaches, along with exclusivity, this is the right choice for you. The lounge and dining room area is large and spacious, well furnished and clean. We never used the dining room but preferred to use the table and chairs on the outside patio next to the beach. We had a problem with sound on the TV on the first night and after bringing it to the team’s attention, they brought us a working (bigger) TV the next morning and they made sure the wifi works optimally. The kitchen is well equipped, with clean cutlery and crockery, a large fridge and microwave. Dish soap, dishrags and -towels are available to make cleaning up easy. There are ample pots and pans to use on the gas stove and we regularly enjoyed cooking dinner together as a family. One of the burners on the stove was struggling but it is to be expected with all the salt water and humidity. The bedrooms are spacious, equipped with air conditioning, built in cupboards and a safe. The beds are comfortable with quality bedding and pillows. Each room has an en-suite bathroom with a large shower, great water pressure and high quality towels. Toiletries are provided. There is a second lounge upstairs with huge chairs and benches to enjoy the incredible views of the ocean and beach.

We could not have been happier with everything at Villa Mer Vue - from the location, to the facilities, the staff, who were brilliant, the food available at the restaurant next door - all fabulous. The staff were so so helpful and could not do enough to make sure our stay was just brilliant. A beautiful place and we were delighted with everything.

The villa was stunning and in an incredible location. Peaceful and relaxing. The staff were so friendly and helpful but not intrusive- always on hand if needed.

Beliggenhet. Godt renhold inne og ute på stranden. Personalet var søte og hjelpsomme.

Noe mugglukt på et av soverommene og kjøkken. Men forståelig på grunn av høy luftfuktighet store deler av året.
