Little house - Hiška

Die Lage ist super in der Altstadt gelegen. Perfekt, um auszugehen, und den Flair der Stadt zu genießen, viele Lokale und Kaffees rundherum, 2 Minuten zum Hafen. Es hat sich privat angefühlt, obwohl es mitten im belebten Zentrum gelegen ist. Super.

Gepäck ausladen funktioniert nur von der Strasse her, ca. 70 Meter weg, aber das ist machbar und wir wussten es vorher... Wir parkten dann am Stadtrand für ein paar Tage, da wir das Auto nicht brauchten, auch das war für uns so eingeplant. Wir konnten das Parkticket direkt am Hafen kaufen, es war auch nicht teuer.

The host was very friendly and forthcoming. He also suggested where to park and responses were quick. We liked the simplicity of the house. There was eveything what we needed. There is also a step in the bathroom for kids to reach the watter tap.

There is no terrace. It is only possible to have table and two chairs on the alley in front of the entrance door. When entrance door is open, everyone passing looks into the main room.

The possibility to make fire in the fireplace was just great. It’s a real bonus in autumn when the house has no other heating but AC. We also loved the seating area after the furniture became warmer. Just great is the short distance to the yacht harbor. The town is very well located for visiting the entire Slovenian coast area. To Koper max. 10 min of drive, to Piran something about 20-30. In Izola we would stay again because of the wonderful peaceful atmosphere to rest.

The dirty eating area. On the table there were rests of food of previous guests and the napkin after cleaning the table was BLACK. Little disgusting if you come in a place to stay and the first thing you need to do is cleaning after someone else. The cold in the bathroom which you cannot make warm because there is nothing to heat. The cold bed. The duvet was really really great but the mattress was so cold that it was hard to fall asleep. Maybe a vice mattress cover would do a good job. In our opinion there should be definitely more pillows on the bed. It is inconvenient when you want to read....
