Owner made communication error about late exit which caused us a more stressful exit. Was a genuine mistake.

We had a pleasant stay with tram at door step for ease of commute to city and west coburg. A short 10 to 15 mins walk to Barkly Square shopping centre and direct tram route to university of Melbourne. Nearby is the beautiful princes park for morning n evening walks.

Spacious and light apartment. Tram stop directly outdoor to cbd. 10 minute walk to shops and lots of good cafes and restaurants in Sydney rd. 5 minute walk to union square supermarket and shops. Coffee shop directly under apartments.

Property advertised pictures don’t match the actual property. The property had been styled for advertising and those extras of bright furnishings, plants etc had been removed and made the apartment look clinical and uncared for. Needs a good clean . All walls and floors had numerous scuff makes , dent in wall . Handles and switches grubby . Picture frames , window ledges all covered in dust. Shower base grubby. Under the bed had probably not been vacuumed for months. Stairwell to the apartments also in similar uncared for state. These factors did not give you confidence that bench tops and crockery etc had been cleaned appropriately, although they were presented in a clean state. I did ring a speak to Zoe about this as a bond of $300 was required a couple of days required before our arrival and to receive key code and I didn’t want those marks etc to forfeit the return of my bond. This factor I had not seen on booking . Apparently it is mentioned but I could not find it under any booking policies or similar. Zoe was polite and friendly and responded quickly to messages and apparently will be speaking to cleaner about the issues I mentioned after our stay. Bond was returned promptly when contacted .
