Vassili's House

Located centrally in the Rethymno province, it is equidistant to the beaches in the north and the south (30' drive). The owners Maria and Vasilis are amazing and very welcoming and made us feel like part of their family.They we're very helpful and accommodating. The room is a semi-basement of an old traditional house, fully equiped with all the necessary amenities. The big balcony upstairs which belongs to the owners, was allowed to be used during our stay. The village is very old and quiet. If you like quintessential greek villages with old character, this is the place for you.

The location was excellent for anyone who wishes to explore the Rethymno region of Crete. The hosts were very warm and welcoming and treated us like family. The apartment was very clean and reminiscent of an old farm house but not lacking any comforts. Vassilis and Maria (the hosts) have a fully-furnished apartment and catered to all our needs. They also brought us fresh tomatoes, local raki and other goodies for us to enjoy

Everything was perfect, there was nothing to be upset about this apartment, the location or the hosts.

Breathtaking view from the terrace! Comfortable cool temperature in the apartment in summer. Nice mountain village, from where you can reach a lot of sights all over Crete.
