The staff was incredibly helpful. We got to have a very immersive Japanese experience which we thoroughly enjoyed. The private tubs are phenomenal and easily accessible. Breakfast and dinner buffets were delicious and offered a nice variety of options.
The property does seem a bit dated but it was still very nice and we had a very good experience. Mold on the ceilings in the private bathtub outer rooms is of concern. We still enjoyed the tubs, however.

Lovely location in beautiful Shuzenji. Room had all we needed and we enjoyed the private onsen.
Unfortunately due to arriving late from Tokyo we were unable to have dinner at the property. They had a small shop so we were able to get a few bits. Needed some updating in places but an authentic stay.
