We had a fantastic stay at Remezzo Hotel & Studios and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again when visiting Pythagoreio. The location is superb, with one of the best views across the whole of Pythagoreio. Whether we were enjoying breakfast on the rooftop terrace or a drink in the evening, the panoramic views over the harbour and town were simply beautiful. The hospitality was excellent throughout our stay. The manager made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived, and her cousin, who was looking after the hotel on her day off, was just as friendly. We really enjoyed chatting with him about life on Samos and the local summer festivals. He also kindly looked after our luggage until the afternoon on our departure day and arranged a taxi to the airport for us, which made everything so easy. Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortably sized for two and had a lovely little balcony overlooking the sea, which was the perfect place to relax with a beer or a glass of wine. We also appreciated the fresh flowers waiting in the room when we arrived – a thoughtful touch that made it feel even more welcoming. The hotel was wonderfully peaceful, and we slept very well throughout our stay. Another feature we really liked was the communal kitchen. There was a fridge stocked with wine, beer and soft drinks, all available at very reasonable prices, making it easy to grab a drink and head up to the rooftop terrace to enjoy the view. Breakfast was also served on the rooftop each morning and was a lovely way to start the day. We were served Greek yoghurt with fruit, eggs, cheese and other local items, while cereal, coffee and drinks were available to help ourselves. We would have liked a little more variety during our stay, although we understand the breakfast changes from day to day for longer-staying guests. Remezzo is a charming, family-run hotel with wonderful hospitality, stunning views and excellent value for money.

A little more variety at breakfast would have been nice. It was difficult to find a few basic things in the communal kitchen such as bowls and plates. There were a lot of old, worn and mismatched items which could probably be replaced to make this space even better.
