Finca La Rubina

The owners are very friendly and helpful - we felt welcome the moment we arrived. The location in the centre of the Island made it perfect for visiting attractions, with everything a 20 -50 minute drive away. The villa is large and well equipped with a swimming pool. We had a lot of space which was appreciated. The owners live next door but it felt very private due to the design of the property and we enjoyed our stay. It was very clean and there was a good selection of equipment in the kitchen. There is a bathroom and a shower room, both of which have toilets. The villages nearby had Teleclubs (community social clubs, bars and restaurants) which offer traditional Canarian food at affordable prices with very friendly staff. We enjoyed visiting them and meeting people there who were all friendly.

The kitchen/living room has subdued lighting which is a cold temperature. This made preparing food a little more challenging and we would have preferred some stronger lights with a warm temperature. The shower room does not have a shower curtain, which discouraged us from using it much. The villa is half of a complex just off a main road. It is not in any village, and it is not safe to walk along the road as there is no pavement.
