Rwgan

An old house full of character. Shame that it rained solid (!) for the two days we were there, but that's out of our control. There are plenty of books to read, games to play. There's a good log fire in the living room to gather around, and the central heating made you feel comfortable even though it was cold and wet outside. The dining room had enough chairs to sit all my family who visited for dinner over the two days. There was plenty of crockery and cutlery for everyone. Something that is lacking in a lot of places.

The double bed in the main bedroom was inadequate for us. My wife and I are not big people, but we like a king-sized bed or a queen at least. There was enough room to accommodate this. The hot tub was not working, which was a great disappointment to us as sitting out on a cold night in a hot tub is something we love, and we're looking forward too. The double oven was only partly working, which meant we had to juggle things around. The main part was broken so we had to cook everything in the small top oven. It's not a big deal, but I just thought I'd mention it as if you're paying for it, it should work.

Wir hatten ein paar schöne Tage in diesem ruhigen und sympathischen Haus
