Early check out - 10am does not constitute a day so it really is a 2 day, 2 night stay but charged for 3 days

We loved the location, decor, environment, the cleanliness. The whole set up was excellent however we thought we were getting king single beds but ended up with single beds. Would like to see king singles next time. We will definitely come back. Thankyou for a fantastic stay!

The property was well situated and the outlook was lovely

The property I booked was chosen based on the spacious kitchen, beautiful living areas and good dining setting as we were a group of 7 ladies 60-70 years and we intended to spend the weekend cooking and dining at the property. The property I booked was water damaged in the weeks before our arrival and we were not advised that we were to be moved to a different accommodation on the site. I was advised only on check in, that we had been "upgraded" as the new property has 6 bedrooms instead of 4. The house had a lovely outlook, but had no character or charm and did not meet our needs at all, the kitchen and lounge area was small (we had to bring in plastic chairs from outside to all sit in there), and the dining table had hard wooden bench seats (not good for older bones)! On objection to the suitability of the property I was told, sorry, the owner should have contacted you, and was offered a discount off the full price for a future booking. Whilst the time spent with friends on the grounds was lovely, the accommodation was disappointing. Secondly, the rate showing on BOOKING.COM said all rates and taxes were included, however I was charged a VAT tax of $138.93 on top of the listed price for accommodation.
