Stunning historic cottage in fabulous Central South Hill location. Belmore Cottage is on The National Heritage Register and was once home to the Mayor of Armidale. It is the second oldest house in Armidale, originally built in 1866. Belmore Cottage is luxuriously appointed and a great place to stay whether you are in town for business or pleasure. We had a wonderful stay at Belmore Cottage. The house is charming and full of character. The beds are sublime to sleep in and we felt very rested. The central location made it easy to walk to the local restaurants, shopping and pubs. We were visiting for a parents' weekend at UNE and enjoyed our stay in Armidale.

Elegantly styled, this lovely property combines old world charm with modern conveniences. Although the temperature outside dipped to below zero, it was easy to keep the house warm.
It was great to be within walking distance of of the town centre and dining out options.
There had, apparently, been some confusion between the owner and the cleaners, and the bed had not been made up prior to my arrival. However, Kate responded immediately to my phone call and sent the cleaners to make up the bed straight away.
Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay.
