About this farm stay rental
Treat yourself to this peaceful country setting. A secluded 14 acre farm set back a long country lane. This comfortable and spacious French farmhouse cottage contains living room, dinette, dining room, kitchen, library and parlour. Also three bedrooms, the Bleu Room with an en suite, The Cottage and Cherub Rooms with a shared bath and a powder room. Perfect for 6 guests with 2 king and 1 queen size beds.
A self-catered breakfast is included.
Enjoy nature at this stream side property. A deck overlooking the water, screened in porch, gardens, and lots of acreage. A very natural setting with pasture, water, wooded and farmland views. The resident Scottish Highland Cows graze in the beautiful pasture in front of the house. Wildlife is abundant with Whitetail deer, wild turkeys, waterfowl, and a myriad of birds. You may spot the occasional Bald Eagle soaring over the fields or fishing in the stream.

It was a wonderful stay. Close to Shippensburg but felt like we where all alone in the countryside. Wonderful time. We will definitely be looking to stay here again in the future.

It reminded me of the movie, The Holiday. Only difference was it was a french cottage in rural PA and not in England. Also, Jude Law never showed up. My stay was great. My host was fantastic. Many of my friends have noted that they would have their friends and family stay there. I loved the cottage and the cows.
