Located on S. Topsail Drive Surf City, NC. The location could not be better! Nestled between an awesome playground with basketball courts, with the Intracoastal Waterway Boardwalk and a private community beach access!
This charming 3-bedroom, 3-bath townhome is ideally situated just a half-mile from delightful island dining spots, quaint gift shops, a convenient grocery store, and the iconic Surf City Pier.

• If you still have the energy for some nighttime entertainment there are local beach bars, breweries, a wine bar, sports bars and several have live music all year round.
• One of our favorite things to do with friends/family that come to visit here is hire a chartered fishing trip and rent jet-skis or bicycles/electric bikes!

• Surf City Surf School has amazing surf instructors and your kids will love it! Make sure to check out the summer programs available for kids at Island Ecological Adventures & Touch Tank Aquarium! The people at the rental place was very nice and accommodating. Upon check in we were told that the pool was not functioning and would be repaired by Monday. The repair was completed Wednesday. We also had problems with the ceiling fans not working and tv’s in upstairs bedrooms.
This also took several trips and days before repaired. The bunk beds wobbled and not very stable. The main floor shower is very small 2’x2’ and very hard to maneuver in.
Overall we enjoyed our stay but the owners should do some upgrades such as shower, utensils and outside furniture.

We had a great stay! While slightly dated, this house was very clean and spacious. The property manager was very quick to address 2 small issues that we had come up. It was super close to the beach.
One thing I was frustrated with was the checkout procedure. It asked us to wash, dry and put all towels and bath mats back in their appropriate places. The sheets were to be left in a laundry basket. However, checkout time was 10am. Which means everyone would have needed to be up by 7 and take their showers so that I could get those items washed, dried and put away before we checked out. I left those items in the laundry basket with the sheets. And the property manager charged us an additional $60.
Next year I’ll probably just bring my own towels, as the ones provided by the property were quite worn, anyway. But mostly because I definitely don’t want to be up at 7am on my last day of vacation to do laundry.

Packaging tape is used to hold the kitchen sink down. The master shower head, despite also having packing tape on the shower head, sprays over the shower curtain because it needs properly replaced. Couldn’t stream shows on TVs bc WiFi went in and out every 20 min or so. Has to wash everything we used in the kitchen as they had caked on food on the utensils and plates. Good view of pool. Beach is across the street a little ways and needs a fob to open the gate to get on and off the beach. Unit comes with one fob which made it challenging with a family. Bring blankets. When you arrive, there’s a comforter on the bed that doesn’t get washed. No hand towels or dish towels either. Linen package that came with our rental included shower towels and wash clothes as well as bed sheets. The one set of queen sheets had two fitted and no flat sheet. This is a nice place- it needs some TLC and some real cleaning.
