Otium Country House

Everything excellent, beautiful and spacious rooms, beautiful garden.

Bit further from restaurants, bars, etc than we had anticipated, but it was still worth it.

Lovely property very unusual and very charming

I’ve stayed in 10 properties this summer and this was by far my favorite. It was such a surprise how large this property is. The gardens are lovely and the pool is so private. Remember to bring your pool towel. The beds were soft and we slept well. It is so quiet. We never heard anything from another guest. The shower had great pressure. There is a large closet to hang up your clothes. The refrigerator was helpful and the electric kettle.

It was hard to find dinner. The three closest restaurants were closed. So the only difficulty about the property is finding places to eat. I am glad that we stopped at the Pingo Doce in Ansiao before check in.

I absolutely loved my stay at Otium Country House. If you're looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and experience the true calm and slow pace of Portugal, this is the perfect place. The peaceful surroundings, beautiful nature, and relaxing atmosphere made it exactly what I needed. A good additional thing is that you can park your car in the shadow of the trees so it won't overheat. The host is an incredibly kind and welcoming lady who made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. I highly recommend Otium Country House to anyone looking for an authentic, peaceful getaway. I would happily stay here again.
