Private Apartment, City Centre, Port Louis

Situated on a relatively quiet side road, handy for Chinatown and a sizeable number of restaurants take-aways, this is a large, spacious apartment with plenty of room for up to 4 adults. The decor was pleasing and all the facilities you'd expect in an apartment readily available. The host was a delight, taking time to guide me around the apartment and highlight particular features. Everything was in good condition, though some wear and tear was visible - just like in your own home. The building is very secure, with someone present at the main entry door throughout the day. WiFi was excellent and the TV/ radios provided worked just fine, if WiFi wasn't sufficient for your needs. A very pleasant stay.

There was noise from both inside the apartment block and the road outside, particularly in the evening. Earplugs solved the issue. Shower was weak on power, but adequate. Only cold water taps in kitchen and bathrooms/ toilet. Only exterior windows were in the bedrooms: none in the lounge area,
