Trang An Lamia Bungalow

It’s a pretty place with a well looked after garden. Our room had a small pool which was very nice. The room was beautiful and confortable. Special mention to Ly who was very attentive and kind.

The location is a bit far from Tam Coc city but quite close to Trang An Boat Station. In any case, you need a motorbike (you can rent it at the hotel) although the road is very bumpy. We had to fill up the pool every time before using it and it takes ages but it was cold and refreshing

The place was a bit run down and the little pools outside the rooms did not stay full ( one did not fill at all) which was a shame. The main pool was empty however there was a lovely picturesque pool 50m down the road which we could use free of charge.

What at little paradise. If you are looking to stay comfortable, with a comfy bed, shower and cooling AC and yet feel yourself in contact with nature, then this is the spot. Absolutely wonderful, to hear the rain, and the natural noises a night, while sleeping comfortably in large bed, just with everything you want. The staff is attentive, renting scooters on site is a super plus, so that you don’t wait for grabs and have flexibility.

Is difficult to point any flaws. I believe there is 2 main items that needs improvement, one is advertising a swimming pool, but then we find out that it it’s not working because it hasn’t been clean in long time. The other point, is about the breakfast, where I felt there was confusion, and it could have been with more.

Location was stunning!

Room was much smaller than expected. It only fit the mattress which was on the ground and the only way to stand up straight was to stand on the bed (A frame room). There were also a bunch of critters which was to be expected, but many ants on the ground in our room which was a little disconcerting as we were essentially sleeping on the floor. Additionally, the pool wasn’t in use.
