Amazing stay on the farm close to town and Black Forest activities

It was so nice to be out of the mainstream and out in the countryside. The mountains, springs, hills and forest trails are magical. We loved looking out our window and seeing the horses, cows, goats, sheep and chickens. Marcus and his wife are so kind and accommodating and the kids are very friendly and helpful too. There is a washer and tumble dryer on site. The black out shades are the best I’ve ever used.

It was a little chilly for us being from Arizona, but there were plenty of blankets to snuggle up with.

Ideal setting for family holiday and for nature enthusiasts.

A beautiful location set in the heart of the Black Forest. The rooms were very cosy and comfortable and the area was perfect for lovely walks. Beautiful views from our balcony which I am going to miss.

The kitchen area is a little bit on a small side.

Lovely place in a fantastic location.

We had a few nights in this apartment and it was really nice. The apartment has everything that you need for a short stay including plenty of hot water and Wifi. We stayed during an unexpected cold snap and the apartment was lovely and warm. Besides the apartment my wife loved the animals, the apartment is on a farm and the hens, goats and horses are well worth petting. The pigmy goat being super friendly! The location is fantastic being only a very short distance to the wonderful town of Wolfach. The glass museum and the open air museum also being well worth a visit. We really wish that we had a more time here, three days was not enough.

The lounge is a little dimly lit in the evening, but that might just be my failing eyesight!

The host herself didn't speak English and needed her daughter to translate, that's about the only thing that the host could improve upon

Beautiful farm in the Black Forest

We absolutely loved staying here. The owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful, providing us with advice, hiking maps and even coming out late in the evening to help with our car. I really loved our room. The furniture was so beautiful and we even had a balcony! The kitchen was small but had everything we needed for our short stay (toaster, kettle, fridge, a small stove etc.). The location was perfect. We explored the Black Forest on day trips but also went for long walks in the area. You can start walking right from the farm and have the choice of a few hiking trails.

Es war ruhig, Fahrradtouren vom Haus aus sehr gut möglich.

Wenn Spinnweben überall an der Decke sind. Dusche sollte keine schwarzen Silikonfugen und auch keine schwarze Fliesenfugen haben.

Alojamiento fantástico y buen ubicado.

Alojamiento bien ubicado, espacioso y limpio. La dueña fue muy agradable con nosotros y en todo momento nos hizo la estancia más cómoda.

Se escuchaba todo de un apartamento a otro. Pero no es algo muy negativo.

Eenvoudig appartement op het platteland centraal in het Swarzwald

Rustig gelegen appartement op een boerderij. Er zijn paarden en kippen. En speelgoed tractors voor de kinderen. Aardige gastvrouw. Je kunt ook eieren van de eigen kippen kopen. Toen wij er waren waren ze glasvezel aan het aanleggen dus was er wel wat herrie. Maar anders is het heerlijk rustig. Ligging is goed in het Zwarte Woud. Mooie plaatsen als Schiltach en Wolfach op korte tijd rijden. Verder zijn de Triberg watervallen goed te bereiken. Freiburg maar ook Straatsburg liggen op 1 uur rijden.

De wifi was erg traag. Websites laden langzaam en soms niet. Misschien dat de glasvezel aanleg gaat helpen al denk ik dat er een wifi punt op de eerste etage nodig is.

Ein Paradies für Kinder. Viele Ausflug Möglichkeiten. Wenn man Ruhe sucht,da hat man den perfekten Ort gefunden. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber Familie.
