Comfortable and view worthy.

The location was outstanding. We love Gleneden Beach and have stayed there, often at a friend's house, over the years. Last year we stayed up the street with no view and really very poor accommodations. Since we are older and my husband finds it hard to maneuver the trail to the beach, having the view was terrific. Ideal for older folks. Also the beds were good, and the kitchen pretty good with decent pots and pans and Pyrex pans and matching dishes. (Unlike a year ago.) Also it has two refrigerators!

The only unappealing thing was the wood floors were pretty beat up, but we recognize that this may be so due to allowing animals. Also there was some dog poop in the yard. The only thing that REALLY bothered me was the lighting. I often stayed up to read and there was really not good light in the living room/dining room. All light was overhead and the dining room light especially was hard to read by. A table lamp with a decent light bulb would have been great. This probably won't happen due to need for a floor plug but even a wall lamp in the dining corner would have helped. For older people dim light is very challenging. Another annoyance was that there wasn't a salt and pepper shaker of any kind. Picky but we ourselves have a rental and I try to leave some basics. This house was good with washer and dishwasher soap and paper towels. A+ there.

Great vacation spot, quiet with great views.

Loved the ocean view and quiet. Short walk to beach access, very beautiful and few people. Close to Lincoln City and other activities. Dog friendly.

Home away from home

Location, comfortable beds, great view. I have rented this home before. There are plenty of kitchen items.

Light above dining table kept flickering, Eric came to fix it and changed bulbs. Did not stop. Used lamp from one bedroom for light. Lower bunk beds were not made up. We were 3 ladies over 80. It's not easy to make up the bunk. Salad serving bowls were VERY heavy.

Beautiful location for a family trip.

The location is exceptional - view of the ocean and short walk to the beach. The house was very clean. We locked ourselves out (user error), and calling the 800 number resulted in quick and efficient help.

Some of the details in the house are a little tired and dated.

Location is totally amazing. Heavenly. Plenty of places to go out if you want to. Get beer and the mushroom and truffle oil pizza and Beachcraft.

pleasant stay after we managed to reach the apartment

No support. we could not reach apartment as snow was not cleaned and local staff was not helpfull (they were helping others but not us)

Salt water lovers

Felt like home, fully equipped kitchen, working fireplace, TVs had streaming services and DVD players which came in handy when the kiddos needed downtime. Beach access was only a few steps away. The Jacuzzi was well maintained and fire pit had the most extraordinary back drop of beautiful neon sunsets. Couldn’t have asked for a better family vacation.

There is no side gate on one side of the property and our doggo escaped a couple times. We had to purchase one of those screw down lawn leashes so he couldn’t escape.

Nice place and location

The property overlooks the ocean with a gated back area with hot tub. Place was clean and had almost everything you would need for your stay already there. Close to beach area but a little far of a drive from grocery stores.

Customer service isn’t the best we were going to cancel after WEEKS of reaching out via email to Vacasa and calling the customer service phone number (called everyday and waited on hold HOURS) while Noone picked up and the recording continues to day someone will be with you shortly. We wanted to stay another day and when couldn’t get ahold of someone requested to cancel the only time Vacasa could make time to get back to is was to let us know that the cancellation fee couldn’t be waived. So we had to stay and get another hotel for another night. When asked about early check in since we arrived in town early am and check in isn’t till 4 we got nothing back for days so we reached out to booking who was able to get ahold of them and they said no. Which is fine- but people can’t plan accordingly if the property can’t communicate. I found them to be very un accommodating and to have poor customer service. Which is a bummer. But the property was fine.
