Uproot Family Farms is a quiet & peaceful place with beautiful pond & mountain views.
The large apartment is above our own home but completely private with your own entrance. You'll find rest relaxing out our back porch and watching gorgeous sunsets behind the mountains. We are just 20 miles from beautiful downtown Greenville and 40 miles to Asheville, North Carolina. We are also just 12 miles to the FENCE Equestrian Center, close to Tryon NC with hiking, fishing, swimming, apple and peach orchards, and quaint small towns. Great for large families or group get-togethers. Enjoy the peace of farm life without the chores. Enjoy feeding our ducks, dropping a line in our pond (catch and release policy, we love our fish), or sitting by a nice fire and just breathe. A fantastic place for longer term business stays or a family staycation.

We needed a quiet, restful place to stay after spending long days at the Earl Scruggs Music Festival, and this was just right! Such a beautiful place, and very accommodating. Not to mention the ducks, which were charming and quite fun!We would definitely come back again.

This was our first time. The entire experience was great. The communication was quick and pleasant. The Check-In was simple. All you need for the stay was provided in a clean and friendly home. Attention grabbing views, WiFi included for indoor tech needs and 'DuckFi' outdoors for those friendly welcome waddles. The location was so central and easy for commutes to any destination. There are so many near-by sites that having a plan to expand your trip's events is recommended. Of course now our suburb family requests more of these. See y'all next time.
