Great value, excellent location.
Nothing really- at this price point it is very good. Would be unfair to be picky about details.

From being greeted and hosted by Emily (and the loveliness of all the staff), to the room, supper and breakfast everything was amazing and worthy of a far higher price tag. Put it this way, we have already booked again to come back for longer!

Great breakfast choices. Staff helpful and friendly and they took a very practical approach to dealing with the local flooding caused by the storm.
Good restaurant choices.
Perfect location for coastal walking

Breakfast is amazing, the best ever, really well cooked and plentiful. Hotel staff are really helpful and friendly, work really hard and nothing is too much trouble. Hotel has a fabulous location in the village centre and Kingsand and Cawsand are the most pretty and thriving villages in Cornwall. Lovely walking in all directions

A lovely cosy Inn within a picturesque, clean and tranquil Cornish coastal town. It is exactly as you would imagine it to be.
The warmth inside the pub was ever so welcoming. The wind and howl of the sea squall at this time of year was well and truly shut behind the entrance door.
My stay was mid-winter in the run up to Christmas, so lights adorned the streets and the sea fog delivered its own festive magic of the season. Atmosphere certainly abounds this top destination.

Absolutely nothing was dislike able.
If it were possible to be dismissive about the weather and the fact that it’s a sea facing coastal town (so hold on to your hats), but this is exactly what drew me to visit in December.

They was nothing we didn't like. We were disappointed we had to leave early due to a change of plans so were unable to stay for breakfast

Liked the location and it was a good rate, which also included breakfast. The room had everything we needed and was comfortable.
The pub is a little tatty inside in the hallways leaving a slight smell in thr carpet there and pub itself also a bit tatty.. But the room was clean and better standard of decoration. The taps in the bathroom mainly gave hot water so not so pleasant for teeth cleaning.

Great staff, location and, great food. Very good value for money, would stay again. We stayed on a Wednesday and had the added treat of the Fishermen’s choir
Unfortunately we only had a warm shower as the thermostat didn’t work too well but, masses of hot water so, the bath was a positive alternative.

We had the Lookout apartment, a short walk from the pub. Superb location in a pretty village. Spacious for two people with a balcony looking over Plymouth Sound. Outstanding value. No plastic plants! Fully equipped with everything you need. Cheap and convenient parking nearby. A freehouse pub with two other freehouse pubs in the village. Would we return? Yes.

Nothing of any great import but the apartment is a little tired whilst the carpets would benefit from a deep clean. The "bath" towells tired and the size of a flannel haha. Budget linens. En suite small but perfectly adequate. That said and on balance outstanding value for what you get.

Loved the place we had fun in the bar with the live music as with family, really yummy meal. We really loved the live band in the bar as we were a crowd.
It was ok with me that when I went to bed my room was directly over the live band and the noise level was very high definitely could not sleep till finished. Great in the bar but noise not so great in the Bedroom. If I had known beforehand would have requested another room. Perhaps another visitor would have liked it to have been more quiet.

Great welcome, lovely spacious room & bathroom, wonderful shower & excellent location in the village.
Our room & bathroom were very hot overnight.
Lack of choice of non-cooked breakfast items.

The location is exceptional, only around 25 metres from the beach.
Parking is alongside the pub but is not run by them. We paid £5 for 24 hours. It's a decent sized car park.
Our room was nicely decorated and had a comfy bed, ensuite, TV, hairdryer, and tea making facilities.
The food was tasty and had great portions (we had an evening meal and a breakfast).
There's another pub 2 minutes away and two more pubs 5 minutes away in Cawsand.
The ensuite bathroom is a sliding door (room 6), which doesn't seal particularly well.
A minor inconvenience, but there wasn't a charging plug on the side of the bed nearest the window.
