Check Inn Bed and Breakfast

This is a great hotel with fast WiFi for zoom calls. Friendly staff willing to speak English. Breakfast included of eggs, bread, fruit & coffee/ tea. Simple room but has what you need. Extremely clean bathrooms.

Sometimes no hot water but I think this a general Equador problem not this hotel.

Loved the friendliness and helpful attitudes of the staff. Apart from the couple times that water availability was an issue, I greatly appreciated the showers having hot water. Location is ideal, right in El Centro, close to the school where I was taking Spanish.

The building was a bit run down and the harsh rain caused leaks in several places. Quiet time after 11pm was sometimes not the case....but this is more a lack of respect from other guests, not the hotel.

Central location. Safe. Breakfast decent but small. Cheap. Nice views. This hostel is MASSIVE

Lockers could be bigger. Showers unpredictable. Hardly any kitchen utensils

It had its years….Staff from time to time was unfriendly and even rude. ( i was asked if that all, when it took me 10!seconds longer to not only put my bag in the locker storage but also one item from my pocket into the bag) No chill area. The terrasse has a nice view but not wifi and absolutely no guest allowed (i understand no party yes but not even one….my one friend had to leave). The next toilet is two stories down. The breakfast is too small for anyone who is not below 50kg and no top up option. I wouldnt mind paying more and not having to go for a second breakfast. ( there are hostels in the same distance to the center, that are much comfortable and cleaner and have a better value for the price). No recommendation.
