Room was by exit so it was banging all night and woke us up

Really nice apartment good facilities big TV comfy bed
Only had £60 to get a room.... long story bad day.
I booked it on the road then get the dreaded now give us £100 deposit ( which the charge £3 for)and you will get it back next week.
I'm now forced to borrow 100 or lose the price of the room as no one answers the emails.... feels like a trap.
Put that aside and lesson learned to check
The thermostat is locked on 25⁰ which is roasting
You can't open windows without the passing traffic keeping you awake.
I messaged the venue 3 times to get code to turn down but again no reply and no reception.
Shame really its worth 75 per night and stop all the tricks and locking the heating.

The shower room
The room was small and very dusty. The bed frame and the work top was full of dust and the chair was too big for the room. The mattress was comfortable but the pillows were horrible.

I loved the bathroom but that was about it.
From the booking process it was already a bad start. Very long process just to enter a room you paid for but that’s the process so okay. The issue will now be listed.
1. Dirt in every corner of the room, it was not clean AT ALL. The floors were sticky and dust was everywhere. Even when getting into bed we had to sleep with a hoodie on with the hood up because there were stains on the pillow cases.
2. Within the first 30 minutes of being in the room I was walked in on, that could have 100% been avoided as they would’ve been notified of our entry as we used an app for the key code.
3. The TV was board-line hanging off of the wall, I couldn’t even move it.
4. Damages everywhere, yes sometimes this is unavoidable as damages and wear and tear can happen but as a business you should be keeping on top of those, if you expecting people to pay for a room and then a deposit of £100 it should look brand new or at least look appealing - it looked ghetto and dirty.
5. The £100 deposit upon booking - what is the need for a deposit for ‘damage’ if the property is already damaged. Also £3 is deducted ? It makes no sense as I have already paid for the room itself and extra £3 for a dirty room and sticky floor.
I do apologise if this is harsh, however from the outside and online the pictures look nice and presentable. In person it’s tight, cramped, dirty and the staff or property manager does not know how to knock or announce his entrance.

They left 2 sachets of coffee for 2 people for 3 days i think this could of been a little more generous
One toilet roll for 2 people for 3 days is not sufficient i would say

Bathroom was clean and modern. Kitchen facilities were also quite decent.
Heating. The room was freezing cold, they give you no control of your own heater though there’s a (locked) thermostat. Rather, you have to contact them (as it is centrally controlled). They will proceed to tell you that they’ve turned it up and ask for you to wait 20 minutes. After zero increase in temperature, their last tactic to buy time is to say ‘it’s underfloor heating’ though the floors are freezing just like the rest of the room, which by the way was the same temperature as outside (~2 degrees). It was a very cold night, also not enough towels are provided.
Check your booking.com messages for their separate security deposit. It’s £100, 3 of which you don’t get back..?

Not enough towels provided. Only one large and a small towel for 2 people in one of the apartments and no toilet roll in the other.

The location is definitely good spot , has floor heating which was a nice touch . Has very good water pressure and temperature.
The curtains isn’t properly installed, it lets the light in through the window which makes the sleep not so great and irritated.
The time from the microwave as well needs covering as it Liteally beaming through the whole room at night.
Toilet seat is broken and moving , and bathroom needs maintenance, and proper clean of the whole walls .
Floor of the room is dirty , my white brand new socks was brown . Sheets isn’t high maintenance and quality , is seen it being worn out properly .

The colour scheme, it was clean other than the little hairs in the bed.
Found hairs in the bed and could be seen through the pillowcase (only one) we just took it off the bed.
The walls were a bit scraped with the paint chipped but overall it was a lovely apartment. Good facilities.

The location was great for us.
E block room 1 faulty shower hose which meant water was spraying everywhere. Rooms 2 and 5 both had problems with the heating system. A mobile radiator was provided but only in 1 of the rooms. It was quite a cold night so not very pleasant.

the property was clean, booking procedures were easy and simple.
I booked and paid for a Queen Suite, which is advertised as one of the best suites in the apartments and is priced accordingly. However, upon arrival, I found the room to be quite small. have previously stayed at Sky City Apartments and booked a Queen Suite on that occasion as well— the room was noticeably larger and more spacious, which is why I chose to book the same option again.
As a returning customer, I have always been satisfied with the standard of accommodation in the past. Unfortunately, this experience has been disappointing, and I do not believe we were provided with the correct suite that I paid for. Given this, I regret to say that I will not be returning in the future.

No way of getting hold of staff unless ringing a phone number. Policy states quiet time however couldn’t get much sleep due to noise from other apartments. Not cleaned before we got there and had to go and buy own toilet rolls due to having any given in room upon stay

The staff were rude.
When they have your card information they would find any excuse to hold on to your money. They will give silly excuses like there is chewing gum on the remote, so the remote needs a replacement. I wonder what the job of their house keeper. They look for every opportunity to hold on to your money.
This hotel act as if you are enemy
They don't treat guest right. They act like all the guest are come to destroy their hotel.
It's is not a very nice customer service. Not nice people. More like you are talking to a robot no human feelings.
Book this hotel at your own risk.

Room had everything it needed with little hob and fridge, shower and comfy bed. It was walkable to city centre and had free parking which was a bonus.
Communication wasn't great when asking for the 100 deposit back, and I had to ask 3 times. It didn't state this in the advert initially.

It was an absolutely amazing experience here, everything thing is perfect, new TV, Microwave machine, comfortable shower room, enough dinner sets, clean fridge and table, comfortable bed, free car park. Advanced my expectations. I lived 6 days so I sincerely recommend this apartment to everyone.

It was clean, very modern, had everything you needed.
The walls are very thin, and the supposed “zero-noise policy” doesn’t exist. Next door played extremely loud music until 4 a.m., people were coming and going all night slamming doors, and there were constant arguments in the rooms. Customer service was blunt and stopped responding after 9 p.m., so there was nothing we could do. This was meant to be just a quick overnight stop on our road trip, but it turned into a terrible experience. I even took a video of the noise.
We booked a “king studio,” but the bed was clearly a regular double. At our next hotel, the king bed was much larger, proving this one was definitely not. When I raised this, staff insisted it was a king and seemed more interested in arguing than helping.
Even the deposit process felt odd and gave me concerns it might be a scam. When I asked about it, they bluntly sent over the £100 policy as if I was refusing to pay. I had to call and ask for their bank details directly just to confirm it was legitimate.

Nice size room we had a larger room
Our room was at the rear of the property so quiet most of the time.
Bed was comfy, had to remove the quilt from the cover. It was too hot to use the quilt we only had the cover over us.
We were on the 2nd floor and at our age.. almost 70, it was not fun getting our cases up those stairs.
It was very hot in the room, 27 degrees and only a fan, no air conditioning. Otherwise all was good
