We couldn't have picked a better place to get a real feel for indonesian daily life. The staff weren't just friendly but welcomed us with open arms.
Rumah Stroberi is an excellent choice if you are looking for an authentic location, with friendly locals and wonderful staff. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the food is delicious, and the view is wonderful.
Rumah Stroberi is now far more accessible via the bullet train from Jakarta to Bandung.
If you speak english only then there is a language barrier, however if you are willing to use other communication methods you will find the hotel staff are also eager to use every method to bridge the gap and meet you halfway.
The resort is built on a steep hill, it has lovely views, but this also means there are lots of stairs to climb before reaching your room.

I like the many facilities it’s provide, I like the breakfast…it’s tasty, especially the tahu telor. I like the layout of the hotel, it’s feel homy and so green
I was staying in the old building - Thailand suite, it’s clean enough but maybe with more necessary equipment for the bathroom - like rack/cabinet/more hanger to put some clothes or personal equipment, would be more convenient. The furniture quite outdated, the couch need new case, the bed is not as soft as expected for the price paid, the additional blankets that I asked also looked old and dull, the pillow kinda flat.

Location is nice, room was good, breakfast also good. Staff was very friendly and helpful
No warm water for showering in the evening, water drain in shower and sink didn't work properly. Internet connection broke sometimes. Absolutely no go for disabled people bcs many stony stairs to the rooms.
