Lovely house and setting

Loved how cosy the cottage is, how modern and tidy it is and how well appointed it is- there was everything we could have wanted available in the unit- teas, coffee, bottle of wine, toaster, 2 types of coffee machine, iron, oil, vinegar condiments, air conditioner/ heater, kettle, I could go on... We also loved the outside space and the pool- It's the biggest I've seen at a holiday rental, is heated and covered so a real boon on cooler days. There were several tables, chairs and loungers to use around the property. We also liked that the house is a short (10-15 minute) walk from the town (Polop) where there are plenty of places to eat.

Nothing, it's a great house and Norbert is a great host.

Lovely apartment in the historic village of Polop

Norbert is super friendly and helpful. There were all the expendables such as shower gel, spices, etc which is a refreshing change.

Everything was great about this apartment. The owner was very helpful and friendly. The pool was open (a new thing for winter as it's now heated) which was a nice surprise. There was no daily charge for Wifi as mentioned in the listing. The apartment was well equipped and very clean, the oven looked like it hadn't been use. Proper mugs! Perfect location for us, a short drive to Guadalest and Echo Valley. It was very quiet. Would certainly recommend to anyone wanting a quiet get away.

Fabulous!

We absolutely loved this property! It is in the grounds of the owners' finca, situated a 20 minute walk from Polop village where there were plenty of cafe's, restaurants, supermarkets, lovely walks etc. The gardens surrounding the property are beautiful and very private, and we had exclusive use of the owners' most amazing pool whilst we were there - the view from the pool is to die for, and it is the warmest outdoor pool we have ever swam in thanks to the retractable roof which warmed the water up! The property was the cleanest holiday accommodation we have ever stayed in, and we have Graciela to thank for that! There are lovely walks and cycle rides directly from the property, including up into the mountains behind. Many thanks to Norbert and Graciela for a super holiday, and we cannot recommend this property highly enough - if we can, we will certainly be back!

Perfect base camp for hiking and mountaineering around Polop

Very well executed reformation of a garage. You have a luxurious bathroom with rain shower, small living room with open kitchen with stove, oven and fridge and dining table. Comfortable heating by airco. You can pick your own oranges if you want :-). Also a steam spa and hot tub available in the nearby buildings (did not try). There is also a pool (did not try). There is a terrace attached to the house so you can get plenty of sun. The small town of Polop is within 5 minutes drive which has some nice restaurants, a super market and some historic sites. If you like hiking or mountaineering, this place is a perfect base camp, lots of options in the nearby. Also in the area there are nice places (e.g. Guadalest). Free wifi. Very kind owners. Adorable cat. We were allowed to use the washing machine. Got our own key/gate code so we could enter/exit whenever we wanted.

I really can't complain about the property. The only thing that is a little dangerous is crossing the access road to the main road

The apartment is a countryside treat nesting in Polop. Beautifully configured with all the necessary items to make it easy living and relaxing stay.

Fueron unas vacaciones inolvidable,el lugar es maravilloso,una vista preciosa, Nolberg y su Esposa son personas maravillosas, tienen muchas frutas en el jardín del cual puedes tomar tu jugo todas las mañanas ,y puedes comer de ellas todo el tiempo,y como dice el señor Nolberg, (siéntanse como en su casa),el apartamento está muy cómodo, tiene todo lo que necesitas para sentirte como en casa y tener unas vacaciones agradable y con mucha paz,y además puedes hacer barbacoa,solo puedo recomendarlo, tanto el apartamento como el lugar y los dueños, que te dan la seguridad que necesitas para sentirte como en casa,de hecho ya estoy haciendo planes para volver el próximo año.

Entspannter Urlaub

Norbert und Graciela sind tolle Gastgeber. Sie haben ein kleines Paradies geschaffen. Die Region etwas abseits des üblichen Tourismustrubels bietet gute Möglichkeiten zum Wandern in den nahegelegenen Bergen. Und im nahen Polop kann man etwas traditionelles Spanien erleben. Besonders angetan hat uns der beheizte Pool von 8 m mit 29 Grad im April (!), der uns allein zur Verfügung stand.

Todo perfecto el anfitrión muy amable, el apartamento está en el campo, muy tranquilo cómodo y bien equipado ademas aparcas en la puerta, la situación perfecta a un paso de todo, un minuto de Polop centro a 3 minutos de la Nucia a 12 de Altea y las playas y 15 de Benidorm. lo recomiendo volveré

Fantastisch huis in mooie omgeving

Mooi huisje in een prachtige omgeving. Perfect schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Ook bijvoorbeeld kookspullen als zout, peper, olie e.d. aanwezig. Goede bedden voor een fijne nacht. Genoeg privacy en ruimte. Norbert is een perfect local host die altijd wil hebben en beschikbaar is als het nodig is. Is ook uitermate flexibel

Eigenlijk niks te melden hier. Dit is echt een top plek. Enige dat ik kan bedenken is dat het Wifi het lastig had bij remote werken

Prima huisje voor wandelingen in het achterland van Benidorm

Prima ligging voor het maken van wandelingen; de keuken is goed uitgerust, het bed is comfortabel, de eigenaar vriendelijk, stil en rustig in de nabije omgeving;

Weinig tot niks eigenlijk. Veel muggen en in de winter moet de airco aanblijven om het warm te houden in het huisje.
