Our stay at Dolphin Blue Paradise in Bocas del Toro was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely immersed in the beauty and tranquility of the surrounding jungle and ocean. The setting is truly breathtaking—crystal-clear water, lush greenery, and the kind of peaceful atmosphere that’s hard to find anywhere else. “On the island” has taken on a lot of meaning in current media—but after returning stateside, we found ourselves asking, why are we not on the island? That feeling alone says everything. This place stays with you. The food was absolutely incredible—fresh, vibrant, and clearly crafted with care. With an organic and sustainable farm on site, locally delivered seafood, and thoughtfully sourced, sustainably raised beef, every meal felt both nourishing and special. The staff went above and beyond to make every moment unforgettable. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made us feel truly welcomed. The hosts are also incredibly knowledgeable about the area—the local history is fascinating and absolutely worth exploring, and their insight added so much depth to our experience. We also loved the experiences offered—the cacao tour was a fun and unique highlight, and the island tours are an absolute must. If you have the chance to explore beyond Bocas, learning about the Panama Canal and visiting the Panama Canal Museum (in old town Panama City) are truly unforgettable and provide amazing context for the region. Whether kayaking, swimming, or simply relaxing and listening to the sounds of the jungle, everything felt restorative and unforgettable. If you’re looking for a place to truly disconnect, recharge, and experience the natural beauty of Panama, Dolphin Blue is an absolute gem. We can’t wait to return.

Beautiful and peaceful property right in the water. Nice and comfortable cabins. Excellent food, great hosts and attentive staff. Birding, kayaking and many other things to do.
