There are plenty of restaurants and shops along the coastline, and beach access is only steps away. Malibu's most popular destinations, including Nobu, Soho House, The Malibu Pier, and Surfrider Beach, can be seen from a bird's-eye view.

The home is located on the hillside opposite Carbon Beach (also known as Billionaire's Beach). The home is located on a private road and the home itself is gated. There are plenty of shops and restaurants down on PCH at the bottom of the hill.
Getting Around:
You can use Uber or you can ask us about our car rental program through Drive Awhile.

Please message our team and speak with the Home Manage before booking. Mandatory additional terms may apply depending on your booking platform. Credit card processing fee may be required post-booking. In case of cancellation, the stated booking cancellation policy applies.
To maintain property and neighborhood harmony, we have important rules. Please read carefully.
1) No parties, visitors, or unapproved guests. Submit all guest names before booking. Government ID may be requested from the person who booked. A guest is anyone who will spend any amount of time at the property. Our strict guest policy ensures neighborhood peace and legal compliance. Exceeding capacity risks our permit, we may ask you to leave.
2) No pets allowed except for service animals as required by law.
3) No smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes, or similar (outside and indoors). Our state-of-the-art smoke detectors notify the fire department - $500 fee for false alarms or rule violations. City Code Section 41.50 B 18 b | High Brush Fire Zone | Prevent Wildfires | It’s the LAW.
We are in a high brush fire zone. In effort to prevent wildfires the state can turn utilities on and off intermittently. Stay Awhile will not offer any refunds in this case.
4) Do not send mail to property before or after your reservation dates. If needed, send it to our office; we'll deliver to the property on your arrival day. We're not responsible for lost mail.
5) Quiet hours: 10:00pm to 8:00am to ensure peaceful atmosphere for all guests and neighbors.
7) Day of Arrival:
Let us know if you prefer self-check-in or a personal tour. Only the guest who booked can check in and must show their ID for security.
8) Check-In: We have a check-in window from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Early check-in is based upon availability and will need to be approved by our team. Please keep this in mind as the day of your arrival approaches. If you are arriving later than 6pm, please reach out to our team for approval.
Check Out: 10:00am. Late checkout is based upon availability and needs to be approved in advance. Our late check-out fee is $100 for every hour after 10:00am. Additionally, if you want to check-out after 12:00 pm, then you will need to pay a fee equal to one full day. Please keep this in mind as the day of your departure approaches.
9) When you are departing the property, please make sure that you do not leave anything behind. Our team is not responsible for Lost or Stolen Items. If our team finds a lost item, we will ship it back to the guest. The guest will be responsible for paying the shipping cost plus a $50 service fee.
10) Pre-Stocking: Choose from our available pre-stocking options with at least one week's notice. A $95 service fee applies to all requests.
11) Pool/hot tub: Never leave children unsupervised; no lifeguard on duty. No glassware; $1000 fee if glass is found. Use provided plasticware for safety. If kitchen lacks plasticware, please inform us. Please don't dispose of plasticware; wash and store them.
Pool heating: $100/day of your reservation, plus a payment processing fee. Hot tub is complimentary.
12) Parking:
After you enter the gate, there will be a long driveway large enough to accommodate about 4-5 vehicles. Additionally, there is a garage port that can accommodate 2 more vehicles. So, the property can hold around 6-7 vehicles. It is also worth noting that parking is unavailable on the street at this property since the road is too small and winding to fit parked cars.
13) To maintain the quality and condition of the home, guests are not permitted to move or rearrange any furniture without prior written approval. Moving furniture can cause damage to floors, walls, and the furnishings themselves.
Any unauthorized movement of furniture will result in an additional fee to cover inspection, repositioning, and any damages incurred.

14) Cleanliness:
We take our cleaning seriously. You can trust that our homes are thoroughly deep cleaned between guest visits. All of our homes have white hotel-style linens, white towels, toiletries for our guests, and well stocked kitchens with high-end appliances. Amid COVID-19, our cleaning intensified: surfaces wiped with hot water and disinfectants. All towels and linens washed, regardless of appearance; many hotels don't. Door handles and high-touch spots get extra care. Staff wears masks, gloves, and shoe coverings. Our exceptional cleaning surpasses CDC standards.
15) **All credit card payments are subject to a 3.55% processing fee, shown at checkout. A 3.55% processing fee also applies to any additional service charges, including pre-stocking, mid-stay cleaning, pool heating, and similar services. The guest name must match the name on the credit card. For international credit cards, an additional 1.5% may be charged after booking to account for exchange rate differences—bringing the total fee to approximately 4.7%. If you prefer not to incur this fee, payment by bank wire is available. Guests wishing to pay by bank wire must notify our team prior to booking so we can provide instructions and ensure the correct payment method is arranged.

The main living area, outdoor space and view cannot be beat. Additionally, I found the host to be very responsive for the most part. For those reasons we would absolutely stay here again.The issues to be aware of:- The other areas of the house could use a little touch-up as they are definitely showing wear and tear.- As other reviewers mentioned, cleanliness was an issue (there were old drinks sitting in the garage for example). - We were without Wifi for a few days because things were not connected properly. - The communication was frustrating as the right hand didn't seem to know what the left hand was doing (ie gave permission the night before to fix WiFi and we were gone all day, only to find a message from the tech the morning after I gave permission asking for access that was already granted... when I responded that I had already given permission, the response was "we know" - so why send me a message?) This happened more than once where it seemed like the team was not communicating with each other and it showed.- Supplies seemed unreasonably limited given the price: We were only given 1-2 towels per person for a week stay necessitating a lot of laundry. There was one beach chair, no umbrella, no boards, no sand toys. I ended up spending about 500 on items I left so hopefully future guests will have access to those items.

Gorgeous house and property, check in was smooth and host was great. Loved this property a lot. Only thing was the cleanliness of the property could have been a lot better—won’t get into details because I don’t want that to take away from the beauty of the property itself. Would still stay here again

We enjoyed 3 nights just us and invited friends for 1 night; the best time ever! The property is sooooo beautiful; the views are literally like a postcard! Sunrises and sunsets were beyond beautiful!!!
The property management team is excellent and went above and beyond before and after our stay to ensure we were well taken care of. :) Renting the car through them was also a breeze! The home was absolutely like the pictures, hot tub and pool were not only clean but perfectly situated outside to enjoy the views!
We are thinking of renting again in July for the month! The home felt like home away from home for us. :) The best rental ever!!! SO worth every penny :)
