Such a great villa

All was good

La maison est identique aux photos, tout était parfait 👍 Chambres spacieuses, literie très confortable, espace extérieur très apprécié Attention à bien prévoir un mode de déplacement pour notre part nous étions 6 et avions prévu 2 scooters et une location de voiture ainsi chacun pouvait bouger à sa convenance La conciergerie de la maison nous a beaucoup aidé tant à notre arrivée que pour louer la voiture mais également pour notre Check out Nous avions laissé en euro l’équivalent du montant de la caution Pour la machine à café il faut prévoir des dosettes bon café qui se trouve sur place

L’état des serviettes de piscine et de toilette, souvent tachées ou trouées (je l’ai signalé à la conciergerie)

Villa is generally as it appears in the photos. Layout is fab - with 4 ensuite double bedrooms around a communal pool area. Great indoor-outdoor living areas. Location is quite good - near to quieter Bang Por beach area although it’s still at least a 20 min walk to a decent section of beach and you absolutely need a car to get to restaurants etc.

The management of the property was poor. Communication prior to and during our stay was slow. For example, I emailed well in advance to ask if an airport transfer and rental car could be arranged (as offered). I had to chase up by phone and didn’t receive full confirmation until the day of our arrival. Similar experience when it came to cleaning during our stay and check out. The agent was not available when we arrived to do check in (although the house was open) and very basic things e.g some drinking water, salt/pepper, tissues, 1-2 dishwasher tablets were missing. The agent could not answer simple questions eg what to do with the rubbish during our stay, local restaurants and activities to recommend. Additional electricity charge was v expensive given we did not use AC. Good for people to know that there are also quite a lot of other properties and construction in the area (not really clear from photos). Overall, house needs a bit of TLC - outdoor wood furniture, outdoor shower, plants around the terrace (half were dead!), kitchen area and crockery not the cleanest. The handle of the oven in the kitchen was broken (although a makeshift fix was provided so we could at least use it). Management of the property could be improved with better communication and some simple basic touches.
