LA POSADA DE LA MUELA

I booked this accommodation at the last minute. I recommend arriving before sunset, as the drive involves a lot of winding mountain roads, but the scenery along the way is beautiful. Check-in is entirely self-service, and the property is well-equipped and very well-maintained. The upstairs balcony has wonderful views.

There’s only one bar in the village, with no supermarket or other restaurants, so it’s best to eat before you arrive or bring some food with you. The property has a kitchen and a fridge.

Clean and pet friendly. stunning views and the village is really pretty.

We were asked for €30 to be left out when we arrived. Because apparently the previous guest left the place dirty. We were surprised by this as it wasn’t mentioned when booking. The bathroom facilities are not ensuite and anyone can use your bathroom even if you have paid a lot extra for your own bathroom. The shower temperature goes from cold to scalding hot even when fully on cold. This is dangerous. It also doesn’t drain away very well so the bathroom floods, don’t leave anything on the floor.
