The staff were kind and pleasant, the layout a little unconventional with common areas that are homey and inviting, and the whole place is well cared for and clean. Theres a kitchen that comes online for breakfast and when we told the cook we preferred light breakfast, he made a creative fruit and yogurt cocktail with berries. He took the time to make it cute and well presented and it felt 'extra' . Its things like that set this place apart.

It was a great location within walking distance to the main commercial area of Manitou. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Felt very homey with large kitchen, table and "living room" seating area.
The only downside was that it is not clearly visible from the main street and not marked by signage. After finding the drive "ramp" to the parking area the first time it was easy access.
