About this house rental
Fantastic 1900+ sq ft Lake Huron Waterfront/Beachfront home with gorgeous lake views and endless sandy beach. Perfect for kids and families! Come watch the sunrise over the water, take a long walk along the shoreline and enjoy this unique 2 story home featuring an open floor plan, 3 bedrooms (2 on the upper level (Queen beds) and 1 on the main floor (Full bed) each with its own full/attached bathroom. The upper loft also has 2 twin beds and there is a brand new couch with fold out queen in the den. Full basement (unfinished) with ping-pong table. New blinds throughout 2022.
First floor full laundry. Bath/beach towels and linens provided. Fully equipped kitchen. Weber propane grill on the deck and fire pit in the side yard. 2 TV's, Wi-Fi, Dish TV, DVD, Xbox 360 all included! We really enjoy a nice movie after star gazing by the fire!
Community path immediately adjacent to the home for access to the beautiful, private sandy beach. Path is uneven in places - advising in the event of mobility issues. Beach chairs, toys and towels provided. Extra large dog crate (and baby gate) provided.
Harbor Beach is 10 miles to the north. You will find 2 well maintained parks, 2 museums and a super friendly village of people ready to assist! Port Sanilac is about 15 miles to the south and has many darling shops and local restaurants.

The house was easy to find and immaculate. There were plenty of dishes and silverware and all appliances worked perfectly. The nights were quiet. We did not realize until later in the week that local beaches were closed for e-coli, and we did swim. Of note: this late in the season there was a lot of muck at the lake bottom.

The house is beautiful and private. There were plenty of chairs to enjoy the beach/firepit. The open space on the first floor was amazing for the view to the beach. This was truly a private beach with only a handful of neighbors who showed up, who were very friendly. tw

Karen's property is amazing. Million dollar view, nice/clean house and able to bring pets was exactly what we were looking for.
The entire process was seamless and easy. We will be back.

The property was very clean. The view was nice but not wonderful because the property was high on the bluff and the trek down to the beach was along a muddy fairly steep terrain.
We have rented many, many places for the past 22+ years and this place was just plain annoying. The owner had signs inside all of the cupboards, with pictures, of the contents as if to remind us that "I am watching you". And yet in order to work the tv, internet, or the dining room light, I had to make a phone call to figure it out.
She constantly reminded us that if we used up an item then we were to replace it. The cleaning fee was exorbitant and we were reminded to wash all the dishes and wash, fold, and put away the towels and dishes before we left.
The two bedrooms on the 2nd level were extremely small, almost claustrophobic so we opted to sleep on the double bed on the first floor.
Pets were allowed but only on the first floor. For anyone who has a dog that would be quite difficult and was not spelled out in the description. The owner should have stated that limitation in the description of the property.
I would not return even for half the price.
