The location, room size and furnishing was really beautiful. Even though the communication was a bit difficult with the care taker (Google translate made it :), he was really super friendly!

What was completely unacceptable (for me) was, that we couldn't close the flat against mosquitos. There are holes in the wall, for cooling the house down during the night, but without a net or anything else. We booked it and spent 2 sleepless nights there, eaten by mosquitos. If you would install a mosquito net over the bed it would mostly solve the problem!

It's a quite place..I love it

A bit late booking, arrived at midnight, but the owner still tries to prepare the best according to the standards they have. The owner is really very communicative. The staff, Pak Wardi was very deft in preparing all our needs. (Thank you Pak Wardi for the time we can chat and the gift is an aloe vera plant) Thank you Pak Wardi, our vehicle has been washed from sea dew contamination.. This place is very close to the beach, with a very beautiful sea view. The Gunungkidul area is very hot, especially if it's on the beach, but staying at Fam Sugiono Cottage doesn't feel like being in Gunungkidul because it's very cool, the owner plants a lot of fir and acacia trees so the air feels cool. A place that is really set to be natural. Staying at this place feels very quiet, there is no noise. We even spent all our time in this place, losing interest in the beach which is only 50 meters from the cottage. We also take advantage of the existing kitchen to cook the food we bring.
