Nice couples break away

Cottage is really lovely and has lots of character. Very relaxing weekend away, great hospitality from Michelle and Neil. Nice walks in the area and hot tub was so lovely and hot!

Just a recommendation, a rug in the living room area for the dog to lie on next to the fire. Sky TV was intermittent so maybe get rid of Sky and just have the Freeview. The main front door could do with looking at as a little awkward to close.

Great escape

If you're looking for a relaxing break I would recommend Rita's. The facilities are great, it was clean and very comfortable, the hot tub was a great bonus as was the wood burner.

The cottage was lovely it was bijou and perfect for 2 . The hot tub was fab and so nice that it was lit and ready for us on arrival thanks to Michelle who was the perfect host .

Exceptional

If you are looking for a secluded cosy retreat, look no further. Beautiful little cottage with lots of quirky features. Mixes cottage charm with a spot of luxury. The wood fire hot tub is the perfect addition to this cottage. Sat in the dark, away from the hustle and bustle of life the listening to the trees and local wildlife was bliss. Yes, you have to get the fire going. Not just push a button, but it totally adds to the experience and charm while being in keeping with the beautiful natural location. Best 2 nights sleep iv had in a long time total relaxation and amazingly comfortable bed. Michelle was amazing and extremely welcoming and friendly. It's very clear that she loves her little bit of heaven and takes great pride and joy in being able to give others a small taste of it.

Beautiful Cottage

The location and cottage itself are beautiful. Dog friendly. The owners Michelle and Neil are so friendly, lovely and helpful :) we were able to visit some nearby attractions / walks on our stay.

The sofa bed was uncomfortable and we found the hot tub a little too much work to heat. We paid extra to have it heated for when we arrived but still had to wait a while for it to heat up.

A quiet, quirky stay!

Such a quirky little cottage in the middle of nowhere. You can see the stars at night and hear owls, foxes, and other wildlife as you soak in the hot tub. Michelle is an absolute star and couldn’t do enough for us. Can’t wait to go again!

Relaxing break

Perfect place for a relaxing break, waking up to the sound of birds. Michelle met us on arrival and made us feel very welcome. Accommodation is ideal for a couple and the hot tub is a very nice bonus.

There wasn't anything we didn't like about Rita's retreat.

A beautiful little cottage with fabulous hosts. Neil and Michelle couldn’t do enough and were both super friendly. The place is so well furnished, the bathroom and bedroom are amazing. Couldn’t beat the wood fired hot tub either! We will definitely be back and would highly recommend this lovely little place for a peaceful and quiet getaway
