Home2 Suites By Hilton West Palm Beach Airport

We liked everything very much but the breakfast facility. We're Hilton members and usually stay at Hampton, but it worked out that Home2 was more convenient, so we tried it. Loved it. Will stay at this chain again. See below for what our rating was not a 10.

Complimentary breakfast. The food was fine. (Typical hotel complimentary breakfast.) However, the self serve counters and sitting area tables were NOT okay. Very different from every other aspect of your hotel. We ate around 8:45 am and the food area was a mess. While it was slightly busy, it was not so busy or crowded that workers didn't have time to clean. It appeared no one was cleaning the counters. Dropped food on counters and floor, waffle mix everywhere! around the 2 waffle irons, coffee counter was wet from drips and spills and a couple of condiment containers were empty (and did not get filled during our 45 min breakfast time), ran out of regular coffee and took 15 min to replace. Another example, serving tongs for fried eggs was a joke...they cut through the egg and people were frustrated. The line was backed up because people took forever to get their egg! Such a simple fix...use a spatula, not tongs! So fix this problem and you'll be a 9 or 10 for the value.

Everything was great. Bar soap in bathroom would be a great addition

I liked how close the property was to restaurants and local attractions. The location made it easy to get around and enjoy the area.

The water pressure in both the shower and sink was very weak. The room had a musty odor whenever the air conditioner was running. The room door did not close properly and had to be forced shut each time we entered or left.
