We really enjoyed our stay. The property was beautiful and provided a relaxing home base for us to explore the island with our 10 year old. Close to great snorkeling, and an easy drive to cultural sites and kayaking. We were able to drive to Volcano National Park, black sand beach, and Hilo, as well as up to the north of the island and not feel rushed or stressed getting back.Grocery store and restaurants were in good proximity too. There are a fair amount of rules to read through and abide, but it made for a relaxing and quiet space to relax after adventuring.

As a first timer to not only the Big Island but also the state of Hawaii, we could not have asked for a better place to call our home base! The unit is exactly as described, very well equipped, spacious and located conveniently to roadways that provide access to different parts of the island! We were all so sad when it was time to go.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s about 15 minutes south of Kona proper. There is a grocery store right around the corner, which was super convenient. The condo is stocked with all kinds of cookware, Tupperware, and cooking appliances. We made many of our meals and had everything we needed. The balcony is a beautiful spot to have coffee and enjoy the sounds of the birds. The kids really enjoyed the grass area where they could run around and also loved the pools. Great spot and highly recommend.

The condo was great. Sure the furniture looks like it’s out of the 80’s but it’s comfortable. What we really loved was that the home was stocked. There was snorkel gear, chairs, and a nice kitchen with all the pots/pans/utensils you would need. The condo is really like a home away from home. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Overall from start to finish, this was a great experience. My family and I (3 year old and infant) had a great time. The property was stocked with plenty of beach amenities - chairs, toys, umbrella and towels. The condo property has 3 pools to use along with grills available at each of them for cooking out. Great location to head to the south end of the island and the Kona area. This property specifically overlooks the Kona Country Club and has a great grassy area for the kids to play ball in the morning or evening. 10/10 would stay here again!

Our family of 4 stayed for a week and had a positive experience. Emails from the property management kept us in the loop. The condo was clean and spacious. There are plenty of towels and linens. The beds and pillows were nice. One of my sons slept on the pullout couch in the living room and enjoyed his own space. Parking in a reserved carport was nearby. Grocery shopping a restaurants are also just up the street. We hosted dinner for 8 one night and we all fit on the dining room table. AC and fans worked great. We loved the authentic decor. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend this condo. We will be back! Thank you for a lovely stay!

After a week in a hotel in Kona we moved to Hale Kanaloa for a completely different experience. We’d planned to rent a car but found we didn’t need one as everything we needed was a 10 - 15 minute walk away and the hop on and off bus into Kona was easily accessible if we wanted to go back (which we didn’t). We went to a different restaurant every evening - all within walking distance.

Our family of four was extremely pleased with this rental property for our two week Christmas vacation - we'd go back again in a flash. The suite was very spacious, even with our two adult children, and had everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. It was very clean, the kitchen was well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. It also offered beautiful views of the golf course and we loved both lanais. The property is in a fabulous quiet neighbourhood and complex, with easy access to surfing and nearby beaches. The overall complex was gorgeous and immaculately maintained and the three pools were amazing - offering lots of choice, great views and good relaxation. Boundless Hawaii was great to deal with and very prompt to answer our questions.
