Bamboo Nest Beachfront

So unusual and unique. Jonathan, Flukey, Chris and Greg were typically hospitable. Jam session and food on Saturday nights are a good bit of fun.

Nothing not to like - but be aware that you will need earplugs to sleep. Lots of dogs barking & fisherman going out all hours of the night next to the accom. Added to the charm for us.

Such a relaxed setting literally on the beach. Creatively made entirely from bamboo. Lots of hammocks and sitting areas. 3 shared showers and toilets in the main area. There were little huts on water. Food and drink available to order or use of kitchen/ fridge/stove if you want to make your own food. Chris and flocky were wonderful and accommodating. They really looked after everyone and loved and looked after all the animals. The local area has many fresh food/fish/meat stalls. It was very genuine and not touristy. Fresh coconut only 35pesos.

The owners have done an amazing job and rescued so many dogs/ cats but they bark a lot in the night and leap around on all the surfaces including where you want to eat which isn't that hygienic. Bit noisy. Earplugs are handy.

This place has everything, nature, nice people and a beautiful place to sleep. And the sunset is stunning.

That my trip was to short

The beach was nice and the tents were clean. The host was also helpful with the basics. I didn't have high expectations and the tent is only 12 USD per night, so it's a cheap stay but honestly unless you are in it specifically for this beach or just a quick night's sleep, I would refrain. There is a lot more bang for your buck at other hotels. 12usd seemed a bit high after the experience. You're not going to find any hustle at this place so bear in mind!

I was disappointed to find no breakfast or food (besides some Pringles and Doritos for sale) offered and nothing specifically tasty in walking distance or open for breakfast hours. When I enquired about booking a tour or doing something fun the next day, the man on staff told me to wait until he finished his movie. I never heard back about booking for the next day or anytime.
