Refreshing and memorable stay with beautiful views and exceptional service at Lofer

My stay with family was delightful, thanks to the property’s prime location offering stunning mountain views. The staff were exceptionally helpful, even organizing a stroller for my child, adding a thoughtful touch to our experience. The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed for a short stay. I especially loved the balcony, where I enjoyed the picturesque scenery both in the morning and evening. Plus, being so close to the cable car and having a water park nearby made the visit even more enjoyable!

When we arrived at the property, we were pretty tired and ready to relax, but there was a small mix-up because it was a holiday, and we didn’t get the keys right away. It took some time to get in touch with the owner and sort things out, but once we did, everything went smoothly, and we were able to settle in and enjoy our stay.

Perfect apartment for a ski trip in Lofer

Location was perfect as the apartment is situated above a ski rental store and right next to the main ski lift. It is close to a supermarket. The apartment itself is clean, spacious, and well-equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return.

Wonderful family ski accommodation!

Central location near gondola is fantastic. well equipped apartments feeling clean, spacious and new. Staff very helpful and friendly.

There is a bar across the road playing loud music in the early morning hours which may be a problem if you’re a light sleeper.

Exceptional

Our family has had a total of four ski trips in Austria, and this one is the most satisfying. The location of the house is fantastic, right next to the slopes. The landlord Ms.Herbst is very friendly and provided my two children with free three-day ski school and free ski equipment. The price-performance ratio is too high. Especially recommended for family ski trips. Great travel memories！

Wonderful winter wonderland

It's a lovely apt with a comfortable bed, and excellent layout. We loved the infrared sauna in the apt. It was perfect before and after skiing. Martina was also wonderful. She was very friendly and helpful as was the rest of the staff. We felt welcomed and at home. There was a parking space right by the door and the apt was a perfect size for 2. Everything was clean and new and worked perfectly. There was also a dish washer and a ski storage room with boot warmers. The TV also had Sky, in English, so that was nice too. They also had a good blow dryer and a real oven. The gondola is right there and there is a supermarket nearby. We have all our own equipment but if you forget anything or need to rent, you can rent or buy in their shop. It was really very comfortable and the balcony was great for me to take off my boots without getting too hot from the indoor heating. We also took lessons from their school in order to improve our technique and each of us had an excellent instructor that spoke perfect English. All of the staff speaks English well.

Everything was wonderful so if there's anything that could be improved upon it would be the following but we are nitpicking here: There's a discrepancy with what shows on booking.com. The room on this website stated that it was 2 bedrooms, but the layout shown was of a one bedroom, which matched what we got. In the end we paid the 1 bedroom price, and we didn't need anything more, but it would be good for them to confirm that all the info is correct for all their listings. On booking.com it also states that checkout is at 12 noon, but it's actually at 10am. It wasn't a problem for us but this should be changed on booking.com. The only 2 things I would add to the apt is a non stick pan and a tea strainer. I had my own slow cooker from home that had non-stick, so I used this for my eggs but the first day I used the stainless steel and my eggs stuck. But honestly, we didn't ask for anything and I felt that they would have tried to provide whatever you might need. They had a very positive energy and they really made us feel at home. I really loved it here and we highly recommend it. We'll be back, I'm sure.

Nice location for bike summer holiday

Very good location in vicinity of all we needed. The host provided me with the bike with 15% discount for 6 days, and the bike for my wife for one day was for free. The lift to Lofer Alm is 100 m away and you can use it for free once a day because special guest card. The same card gives you free access to public swimming pool in Lofer, and free entry into two gorges: Seisenberklamm and Vorderkaserklamm. The first one is absolutely worth to see. It's located in Weissbach, some 10 km from Lofer - an easy bike ride. Supremarked, restaurants, shops - all are in working distance - from 50 to 400 m. I also believe Lofer is a good winter destination for families with kids, but it would not be my first choice

The church is 100m away and due to good catholic tradition it rings its bells at 7:00 in the morning except Sundays :) The kitchenet is VERY small, so that to prepare your meals you have to use oven top as working space

Das beste an Ferienwohnung was wir je hatten

Die Unterkunft hat die beste Lage direkt an der Talstation. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und die Wohnung tip top in Ordnung. Die Wohnung hat auch einige Sonderausstattungen wie zum Beispiel eine Infrarot Kabine.

Urlaub, wo keine Wünsche offen bleiben

Urlaub.... wie im Bilderbuch. Megs herzlicher Empfang. Parken am Haus möglich. Die Ferienwohnung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Komplette Küchenausstattung, herrliche Betten, ein tolles Bad, ein gemütlicher Wohnbereich, Balkon. Alles perfekt. Direkte Lage an der Almbahn. Besser geht's nicht. Im Sportgeschäft unter der Ferienwohnung war das Ausleihen der Fahrräder unkompliziert, sehr fachmännisch und dazu noch nett. Es gab auch Empfehlungen und eine Radkarte für wunderschöne Radtouren. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in Lofer zahlreich vorhanden. Das Freizeit Angebot ist riesig- für eine Woche viel zu viele Möglichkeiten. Deshalb der Entschluss- wir kommen wieder, weil HERBST WOHNERLEBNIS und Lofer sind eine fantastische Kombination. Ich würde gern mehr als 10 Sterne geben. Tolles Team und super Service.

Absolute aanrader!

De locatie naast de gondelbaan incl het voordeel van de summercard maakte dat we er optimaal gebruik van hebben gemaakt. Stalling van de fietsen was perfect en veilig geregeld. De bedden waren super comfortabel, een heerlijke regendouche. De communicatie met Martine verliep snel en positief. In de keuken was alles voorhanden. Plek om de auto privé te kunnen parkeren.

Niets. Het balkon had iets groter mogen zijn met wat meer comfortabele stoeltjes. We waren er dan ook 10 dagen en hebben goed weer getroffen dus dan was buiten zitten erg prettig. Maar met de openslaande deuren ging het uiteindelijk prima.

Topappartement op een toplocatie.

Een mooie nette appartement op een toplocatie. Dichtbij het dorpje en de kabelbaan naar boven. Het feit dat je de Saalachtalcard er nog bij krijgt is helemaal super, want daarmee krijg je tot veel activiteiten gratis toegang.

Świetny czas w Lofer

.Apartament jest nowoczesny, bardzo czysty i świetnie wyposażony – mieliśmy wszystko, co potrzebne, by komfortowo spędzić kilka dni w Lofer, także z małym dzieckiem. Dużym atutem jest lokalizacja – dosłownie minuta dzieli obiekt od stacji gondoli, co sprawia, że to idealna baza wypadowa na narty, wędrówki czy po prostu górski wypoczynek. Dodatkowym, bardzo miłym udogodnieniem była kabina na podczerwień (IR) – pomieszczenie ze specjalnym światłem czerwonym, które świetnie rozgrzewa mięśnie po całym dniu na świeżym powietrzu i pomaga się wyciszyć przed snem. To zdecydowanie wyróżnik tego miejsca. Cały obiekt urządzony jest z wyczuciem i dbałością o detale. To miejsce, do którego chce się wracać – spokojne, zadbane, z prawdziwie domową atmosferą.

Jedyny mankament, który nam mocno nie przeszkadzał to problem TV, nie wiem czemu ale mimo WiFi telewizor nie łączył się z internetem i nie można było nic obejrzeć. Może to jedynie chwilowy problem, nie wpływających na całkowita opinię o obiekcie.
