Kemah Cottages on Walsh-Tiny Dream Cottage

Kemah Cottages on Walsh, Tiny Dream Cottage and its sister, Hospitality House, are located in unincorporated area called Bayview, just 3 miles south of the Kemah Boardwalk, and 3 blocks from Galveston Bay. It is about 30 minutes from the beaches at Galveston, but not near a beach itself. Like its postal neighbor, Bacliff, the area contains a diversity of homes and inhabitants, and the area is not upscale like League City. Within blocks you will find expensive bayside homes, but next door is a small trailer park with new renters who are very quiet. Don't be surprised by the new rooster voicing his presence off and on through the day as there is no restriction on it in this area.
Although one guest gave us a horrible review, we have taken steps to correct her complaints except for not adding a washer/dryer which she mistook originally that it had when she booked looking for a cheap price.
The home has an interior lock, walk path night lights, side house and porch lights for night security. It is located behind our other house, making it more secure from street traffic. We are booked solidly on a competing website if you need current reviews.

Please look at the photos and be clear that this is a true “tiny house” experience and will meet your expectations. We are very excited offer a full queen sized mattress on a Murphy Bed that folds down over the sofa after the cushions are stored! No more achy sofa bed! It does not have a dishwasher or washing machine. Often guests choose our low price when they want a hotel or larger house experience, then seem disappointed, which we truly do not want to have happen!
It is our vision of an upscale, contained living quarters suited for shorter stays. It is supplied with everything we'd like to have if we were there for a few days.
The drive is accessed from the side of Hospitality House, and has enough room to park a boat and/or two vehicles.

With Xfinity television and wireless internet, you just have to add your firestick to bring your favorites along. We think you'll enjoy the bay breezes , birds, fresh air and charcoal bar-b-que grill when on the deck, so don't spend too much time inside! NOTE: There is no smoking inside or in the doorway which may blow back into the house or a $300 cleaning fee will be assessed.
