Les hôtes sont disponibles, présents et à l'écoute. Ils se montrent très arrangeants, notamment en ce qui concerne les horaires d'arrivée ou de départ. L'appartement est un logement typique de station de ski, avec les particularités que cela implique : chaque m² est optimisé pour gagner de la place, les lits sont simples avec un matelas basique,...
Aucune remontée mécanique ne fonctionne à Val Thorens le week-end, ce qui limite les activités. La première navette gratuite pour descendre dans la vallée ne part qu’à 10h00, ce qui est assez tard si l’on souhaite profiter pleinement de la journée.

Best thing about Val Thoren is high altitude so ok snow (if not thin in places).
The apartment was clean and tidy enough, there was a bed in an alcove of the hall that sleeps two, plus a sofa bed that sleeps two in the lounge. Two further beds (see comment below).
Bathroom had had plenty of hot water. Shower into small bath.
Kitchen area, in working order.
Apartment was set to sleep maximum six, one room was the glass enclosed balcony which was very very cold at night, with no heating and contained two very small single beds.
Table in kitchen/lounge has draws underneath so adult legs would not fit under it.
As with most holiday resorts there was some music, loud drunk voices in the corridor and doors slamming in the early hours, but not every night.
