Agriturismo Acetaia Sereni

It was a beautiful place. The rooms was very spacious and comfortable, the grounds gorgeous, and the staff super nice to me and my family. It felt like we were staying with family!

A wonderful, peaceful location, our suite was spacious, relaxing and bed was so comfortable. Pool facilities, perfect. Balsamic tour excellent. We hope to return some day.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

We were impressed with the high quality of the building and the interiors. The staff were friendly and helpful. The whole area was spotless and comfortable. We had a chat with some of the staff who told us about the vineyard which started in 1930 and is still in the family today. The outside area where we had breakfast had amazing views over the vineyard and surrounding countryside - idyllic! The setting on the family vineyard was stunning, grapes grown for the family balsamic business, and we bought several bottles. You can go on a vineyard tour with balsamic vinegar tasting.

There was absolutely nothing!

The agriturismo is on a perfectly located hill, not far neither from Bologna nor from Modena. The family running the agriturismo owns and runs the local "Acetaia" whose tour is amazing and extremely interesting to say the least.

Our room was different from the pictures on the booking.com website, rather small and with an outdated decor. Plus, when the restaurant is open, it is very noisy until the restaurant closes its doors, which makes sleeping rather difficult. There are some charging points for electric vehicles in the parking, yet the price is outrageously high! Also for plug-in hybrid cars, which should be allowed to recharge for free given the small size of their battery. All in all, we found the value for money not in line with our expectations, the agriturismo it is on the expensive side given other options nearby.
