This B&B has great renovated rooms with a very nice bedroom with great view outside and the light can be shut out by the outside shutters. The larger bathroom has a very nice shower and bath and is luxuriously outfitted. All rooms have very nice hard wooden floors. When spring and summertime will come you can sit outside and look at the views. The hosts Ira and Michel are wonderful and make you feel very welcome, at ease and at home and offer the opportunity to have an aperitivo and/or dine with them which I can very much recommend. The breakfast is also very good with fresh bread rolls every day and the widest choice of fruit salad, cheeses, cuts of meats and eggs made just they way you like and complemented with good coffee. Furthermore in the area there is are great opportunities to hike or use the bicycles present to look around in the beautiful are (Das Bergische Land), visit different types of museums and visit the city of Solingen or other cities in the area such as Düsseldorf, Cologne and Wuppertal. For me it was a great place to stay during my business project work days in the area and staying here for a long weekend to enjoy the area is high on our list.
