Great location, right off Rua das Flores, about halfway up. Little things like a tea kettle, pastries and water upon arrival made it homey. Quiet.
The bed was very firm, and the slats under the mattress kept popping out nightly on one side

Very clean and with all the kitchen equipment you need Nice gesture of the host to have put coffee, cakes, biscuits, fruit, water and milk in the fridge at our arrival.
Good central location but the noise from the street is very loud during both the day, evening and nights. People were screaming and having a party only 20 meters from our windows (apartment 1 on first floor) - felt like they were in our room. Impossible to sleep from 11pm - 3 am on Fridays and Saturdays. And from 5:30 we could hear every steps from the apartment above is. We are normally not sensitive to noise but this was extreme.
