About this house rental
Exceptional rancher style home with 4bedrooms/3bathrooms at Lake Wallenpaupack! Large living and dining areas for the group to enjoy. Tons of outdoor space with covered porch and excessively large back patio with with brand new grill. Plenty of parking (5 cars). Marina just down the street with docks/boats available for daily/weekly rentals. Bedding includes 2 kings, 1 queen, 2 twins, and 1 queen floor mattress.
- Basement: Walk-out basement with 1 bedroom and full bathroom. King bed.
- 1st Floor: Kitchen/Living/Dining. 2 bedrooms on opposite sides of the main level, one with a Queen and one with a King bed, and 2 more full bathrooms. Porch and patio access. Queen sized floor mattress which can be used anywhere around the house.
- Loft space: the 4th bedroom is an open style loft space just off the living room. 2 twin beds are located in this space
The property boast a fully equipped kitchen so you can enjoy meals with the group. Tons of storage and closet space with a dedicated hallway of "lockers" for the entire group. The marina is just around the corner, and there's daily/weekly boats/docks available for rent. It's a wonderful property for families and groups to share unforgettable memories together.

We enjoyed our stay here. Bedroom in the basement has a musty smell. The light switches are very confusing even though they are labeled and we had to clean the grill before using it. But overall it was a comfortable place to stay and we enjoyed our time here.

The house was perfect for our stay! The large patio area and fire pit was a favorite gathering spot. The kitchen has updated amenities and the dining room and living room were large. The screened in porch was nice for relaxing in the morning and evening. The bedrooms and bathrooms were nicely appointed and clean. The house is located near marinas and restaurants. The owners and management were very responsive. We hope to come back again soon!

This property was overpriced. As other reviews noted, the basement bedroom had a sharp musty odor - also, the ceiling was not finished in the basement; you could see the insulation through a hole in the ceiling. There was a humidifier in the basement but it did not alleviate the smell. Several of the pans were not clean (literally had food and/or grease on them) and some of the mugs were not properly cleaned (i.e. coloration came off when I washed them). The kitchen is not properly stocked; I could not find even one cereal bowl and had to eat from a mixing bowl. The paint was peeling on the sinks and showers; the house had not been properly renovated in a few decades. While the picture makes the property look private, it is surrounded by houses on all sides with a noisy road nearby. At breakfast, we sat outside staring at two cars in the neighboring driveway and a bunch of houses. If you are looking for a tranquil retreat in the woods, this is not it. We might have overlooked one or more of these issues at half the price but at this price point, we expected more. The house is spacious, if a bit oddly laid out, but is not a proper 4 bedroom. It was clean apart from the dirty dishes which were pretty gross.
